Job Description Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, documents and implements programs, applications and systems that meet USG business requirements. They are responsible for the gathering and analysis of data within the Quality function in support of manufacturing operation. This role will also troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Job Description Job Title: Mobile Mechanic Role & Responsibilities: 1. Ensure operation of mobile equipment by completing repair and preventive maintenance activities on forklifts (propane/diesel) ranging from 4,000 lb capacity to 50,000 lb capacity, front-end loaders (Volvo L180H or equivalent), excavators (Liebherr LH60C LITRONIC or equivalent), skid steers, plant sweepers (Tennant M20 or equivalent), and various plant utility vehicles. Utilize diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions/directions, in order to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. 2. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical/electrical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring/testing instruments. 3. Remove/install parts through the safe use of hoists, cranes, and hand /power tools. 4. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. 5. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand/power tools. 6. Conform to the plant's maintenance reliability program (EAM), as well as other required maintenance activities. 7. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with plant rules/procedures and completing safety inspections to meet both OSHA regulations and USG safety standards. 8. Maintain good working relationships through the use of constructive communication skills and dignity/respect. 9.
