Prerequisites:
- Education: Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or High School with relevant experience in automation/robot programming.
- Travel: 55-65% Must be willing to travel on short notice.

- Allen Bradley PLC/HMI experience is a plus.
Job Duties:
- The Automation Tech Automation Tech (AT) will need to be someone who works well independently along with the ability to communicate well with others when working as a team.
- Assembly includes general fabrication (drilling, tapping, cutting, welding, etc.), electrical wiring of motors and safety devices, conveyor assembly, robot programming, and prepping the machinery for shipment. The AT should be able to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints.
- Reading, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical schematics.
- General organization and good housekeeping obligations will be required.
- Post Shipment duties will include working with the Regional Engineer and Automation Engineer to commission the system, debug any issues, and operation requirements based on corporate specifications.
- Once the system is operational, the AT will then train several members of the facility's staff, to be able to operate and maintain the system after the AT's departure.

Job Responsibilities
Assist in installation, set up, and maintenance of equipment
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks
Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations

Summary:

Job Responsibilities
Maintains safe working conditions and ensures a safety mindset, especially as it relates to working on equipment and using tools and machinery
Drives safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards
Hires, schedules, and supervises full time staff and additional temporary staff as required
Provides coaching and corrective feedback timely as well as administers disciplinary processes up to and including termination, as necessary
Performs timely quarterly and annual reviews for all team members
Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution
Oversees all process documentation and training program procedures for consistency of operational tasks, and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace
Construct fixtures as required
Creates a schedule and performs preventative maintenance and regular inspections on equipment
Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
Directs maintenance team members in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment
Orders tools, equipment, supplies and services necessary for repairs and maintenance
Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation
Troubleshoots electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Perform, schedule and supervise maintenance repairs throughout the property.
Schedule, monitor and conduct preventative maintenance.

Use Yardi (or similar) property management software to manage open service repair requests
Create and manage a budget while maintaining an accurate inventory of maintenance items.
Ensure that policies and procedures as well as safety and compliance expectations are met.
TEAM MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE
Lead, motivate and develop a successful, inclusive and diverse property maintenance team.
Provide timely and constructive performance feedback and light mediation.
Deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED ON DAY ONE:
Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred. Associates hired without a CPO certification will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Ability to read and comprehend budgets.
Supervisory experience required.
Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
Availability to be on-call and responsive to after hour emergencies.
A Valid Driver's License is required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Summary
Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Preventive MaintenanceTechnician will be responsible for performing all needed inspections, Preventative Maintenance and minor repairs on Ready Mix Trucks, On-Highway End Dump Trucks, Tractors and Trailers, and Heavy Construction Equipment in a safe, effective manner.

Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance based on manufacture recommendations.
* Operates and inspects machines and equipment to identify defects.
* Perform minor repairs.

* Engaged in cleaning parts and assisting with assembly and disassembly of equipment.
* Performs record keeping of time and parts used on the appropriate forms.
* Performs general cleaning of work areas and maintenance areas.
* Assists other maintenance department staff in performing the duties necessary to assure the efficiency of operations of vehicles.
* Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
* Other duties may be assigned.
* Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
* Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
