What is a usher and how to become one

Ushers greet guests and direct guests to their seats at different events like music concerts. As an usher, it is your responsibility to welcome guests in a friendly and polite manner. You are also expected to distribute either program, brochures, and other available materials. Also, you are to tend to guests, make them comfortable and assist them with questions they might have. Importantly, you are to monitor the activities of the guest to make sure the event is safe. Facilities, restrooms are also to be made neat and organized.

No formal educational qualification is usually required, but you might need to possess a high school diploma or GED. You must be professional, neat, and friendly.
