We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient chemotherapy position. The RN will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients with various types of cancers and hematological disorders.
Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy to patients.
Monitor and manage patient side effects and reactions to treatment.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and expectations.
Perform necessary assessments to ensure patient safety and effective care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Utilize Epic charting system for documenting patient information.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology or chemotherapy settings.
Current BLS certification.
Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC advanced).
Experience with Epic charting required.
Preferred previous charge experience.
