JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Utilities Station CDAS Operator (Evening Shift - Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) to join our CDAS & Controls team.
We are looking for someone with previous work experience utilizing Building Automation or Energy Management systems and operation and maintenance of HVAC controls, air handlers, steam and chilled water air conditioning and pumps; familiarity at a minimum is required. Detail-oriented with strong technical aptitude, computer proficiency, and excellent customer skills.
As a CDAS operator, you will monitor and control various university utility functions from a central location or call center using building automation energy management software. Operators dispatch staff to repair alarm conditions, contact customers during critical customer alarms and act as the campus call center after normal business hours (nights and weekends). Position requires shift work.
Work Location: Dallas Campus; 100% onsite, remote work is not available.

Purpose
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking to hire a full-time Imaging Support Specialist to join the Biomedical Imaging Center (BIC) and coordinate the delivery of the Center's MRI services to our user-base. The BIC is a university core facility that incorporates multi-modal biomedical imaging (MRI, PET, CT, optical imaging) and supports basic, translational and clinical research at UT-Austin and the wider community. Our user-base is wide-ranging and encompasses human and preclinical imaging across multiple fields including oncology, neurology, psychology, psychiatry, nutrition and biomedical engineering. The Imaging Support Specialist will report to the MRI Program Manager and fulfil a key role in the delivery of BIC's services, providing expert technical guidance and training to our imaging community with the goal of enhancing and expanding our user support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the applications of MRI/fMRI to human neuroimaging research, a proven ability to train / educate, and the skills to coordinate a range of administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Deliver MRI services to the BIC's user-base in accordance with our scientific and educational mission.
Coordinate the maintenance and daily operations of the clinical MR systems of the BIC, including administrative tasks such as QA/QC scans, MRI scan protocol creation, and scanner data management. Oversee user-compliance with BIC policies for MR resources and help implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet community needs.
Collaborate with our support team and provide specialist technical support to the Center's user-base for human and pre-clinical MR imaging and spectroscopy.
Conduct the MRI-related training of research personnel at BIC's facilities including in-person safety training and facility orientation; virtual and in-person console training; mentoring prospective MRI Level 2 scanner operators; and provide input into the development of the MRI educational and training curricula.
Maintain the BIC's community-facing resources and update as the Center resources, services and policies evolve. Administer the Center's databases that support community management ensuring comprehensive tracking and accurate reporting of research groups, research projects and users.
Assist BIC users with their research studies, when required, by acting as an experienced Level 2 scanner operator.
Perform other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to biomedical imaging.
4 or more years of experience in the application of MRI/fMRI to human subjects research.

Purpose
The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) is seeking a graduate assistant to help undergraduate students explore civic and public service via experiential learning. This individual will assist in the management of Home to Texas and the Archer Program Fellowship, in addition to supporting other experiential learning programs. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Program Coordinator for Home to Texas and Archer, this position will collaborate within OCE and the Experiential Learning portfolio of Academic Affairs, and campus to develop programs, initiatives, events, and workshops focused on experiential learning and student professional development.
Responsibilities
Conduct outreach to relevant stakeholders in Texas communities (economic development corporations, city and county governments, regional Texas Ex alumni chapters) to develop partnerships that will allow UT to expand its Home to Texas program.
Promote civic and public service - as well as public policy - via experiential learning. Assist with Archer Fellowship Program and Home to Texas recruitment initiatives: advertise special programs to undergraduate students, faculty, and staff; deliver program information presentations; meet with students individually to discuss program participation.
Participate in the student selection process for experiential learning programs by assessing applications and interviews. As needed, manage the interview scheduling process for interviewing students and staff/faculty interviewers.
Perform quantitative and qualitative data collection and assessment. Follow up with students about survey results as needed. Seek and collect student success stories to be used in program reporting or to be promoted via university communications.
Maintain clean and consistent records, including survey data, student labels in Handshake, and lists of current and previous program participants.
Research employment trends and key employers in communities across Texas and beyond.
Coordinate with team members to execute other tasks related to special projects and initiatives.

The Office of Information Technology at the Dell Medical School is looking for an PACS Informatics Analyst- Intermediate.
Purpose
The PACS Informatics Analyst - Intermediate on the Clinical Applications Team is responsible for management of the clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity, and day-to-day support of the end-users of the various radiology imaging systems. The Analyst conducts assessments of the imaging environment, identifies implications for system implementations, acts as a facilitator for changes, maintains the inventory database, and ensures system data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Responsibilities
Create and merge outside exams for consult studies requested by other physicians. Support clinical staff with connecting to other facilities to electronic send/receive DICOM images. Troubleshoot issues preventing storage for image upload on PACS.
Conduct routine hardware and software audits of systems to ensure compliance with established policies, and configuration guidelines. Work with other DMS IT Stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot current systems and with the evaluation of new systems, as well as upgrades to existing systems. Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all PACS infrastructures.
Install and setup workstation hardware supplied by the organization, including physicians' PCs. Notify, plan, and coordinate installation with Vendors to add modality connections, including interfaces to new modalities. Notify and coordinate with Vendors when moves/changes to modalities' DICOM storage locations are required.
Conduct security and compliance evaluations and checks to ensure systems are optimally configured to meet requirements as it relates to the maintenance and integrity of PACS Services.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a health, science, or business field and 2-3 years of related professional experience in the imaging field such as a Healthcare vendor or in a hospital's Radiology, Cardiology will be considered. Experience with Radiology Information Systems and Picture Archive Communication Systems. Experience with DICOM and Modalities. Must have demonstrated experience working with clinicians in a support and/or educational role. Able to exercise problem-solving skills, good judgment based on guiding principles, and organizational policies/practices. Excellent verbal and written skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred 5-7 years demonstrated experience in applications analysis, management implementing and supporting systems in a hospital setting. American Registry of Radiologic Technology Certification/License. Knowledge of the basics of system configuration; of monitoring system resources; and of using and troubleshooting network protocols preferred. Experience with Nuance PowerScribe One. Position Summary:
Provides nutrition information and services to promote and maintain proper nutritional practices, health protection and care.
Position Key Accountabilities:
1. Certifies potential applicants for program eligibility based upon assessment of anthropometric, biochemical, clinical, and dietary information following federal and state regulations, policies and procedures.
2. Counsels program participants on individual nutritional needs based on certifications criteria and determines follow up continuity of care.
3. Teaches nutrition education classes following the class module and schedule as described in the Annual Nutrition Education Plan.
4. Oversees sample formula distribution to program participants, orders sample formula, and inventory reconciliation and breast pump inventory.
5. Creates and assembles educational bulletin boards in the clinic area.
6. Assists Clinic Manager in the overall productivity of the clinic regarding the monthly caseload, customer services issues, and ongoing staff training.
7. Participates in nutrition seminars, workshops, etc., to ensure continuing education in various areas of nutrition science.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
