We are seeking a laborer for underground trench pipework. The Pipelayer will work throughout Dade and Broward County. Most of the project sites are around the Miami downtown area. Working hours can be daytime or nighttime. You must be able to work the night shift when required. Applicants should possess general knowledge of underground utility installation, trenching and excavation regulations and pipeline safety. A successful candidate should possess prior experience in laying pipe.

**JOB SUMMARY:**
You will be responsible to complete induct service drops to residential and business customers for Comcast. Part of the duties will involve restoration of customer's properties. Therefore, we stress quality of work as well as possessing great customer skills.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:** .
+ Identifies and clearly marks existing underground cables as directed.
+ Identifies and marks locations of new cable to be buried underground ("bury drops").
+ Operates locate and bury drop equipment as required within areas of responsibility.
+ Performs a variety of tasks and duties to support both field personnel and our customers.
+ Replaces pedestals.
+ Performs quality assurance checks and completes the paperwork accurately in a timely manner.
+ Wears safety apparel which includes hard hats (where required), safety vests, OSHA approved boots, etc.
+ Technicians are required to meet TAK safety standards and OSHA requirements
+ Possess knowledge of TAK Communications safety program, practice and enforce safety rules and procedures.
+ Maintains a valid driver's license and good to excellent driving record
+ Drives Company vehicles safely, courteously, and defensively; schedules appropriate maintenance as required.
