What Does An Utilities Manager Do At Analytical Services, Inc.

* Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with project goals and requirements.
* Oversee and ensure USCG, DEC, DOH and OSHA compliance/reporting as it relates to the utility plant operations.
* Manage 24/7 operations and maintenance of power plant, wastewater treatment plant, potable water distribution plant, chiller plant and decontamination plant.
* Direct all provided utility services and support all facility upgrades and/or modifications.

* Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
* Basic Qualification
* years of experience as a Utility Manager
* Extensive experience and knowledge in industrial electrical settings with specific knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment generators, switchgear, controls, transformers, overhead and underground feeders.
* Well rounded knowledge and experience in boiler operations and mechanical trades.
* Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Knowledge in regulatory compliance for: DEC, DOH, DOT, USCG, OSHA, NEC.
* ASHURE, API, local, state, and federal policies and laws, fire and related codes, Boiler OPC license or equivalent, CPMM certification a plus.
* Proficient in organizing, communicating with senior management, problem solving, and providing excellent customer service.
* Experience managing staff and resolving problems using hands on management practices.
* Must be capable of multi-tasking, and support numerous assignments.
* US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Gov’t security clearance
