What you'll be doing:
As a Maintenance Technician 2 you will perform preventative and spontaneous maintenance on conveyors, electrical motors, material handling equipment, skill saws, propane torch, man-lift, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, electrical test equipment and ladders as well as lift equipment jacks, chargers, and batteries.
In your role, you will perform general building maintenance including overhead doors, construction repair, roll carts, floor repair and second level gates, doors, etc... You will perform light plumbing maintenance and perform carpentry assignments as needed.

What you bring to the table:
A mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, and ability to learn to read blueprints/schematics including electrical schematics
Ability to use vendor manuals and procedures to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
Ability to be trained and MHE certified to operate power material handling equipment, i.e. Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, etc.

**Primary Purpose**
The Utility Technician will operate various Class A, B, and/or C vehicles (pumper truck, P&D truck, fence truck, container truck, etc.) in support of the operation's needs
**Essential Functions**
+ Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately.
+ Also, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations. Manager.
+ Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information.
+ Services portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites by following the Company's servicing guidelines.
+ Notifies management of any issues encountered on back-up route assigned.
+ Maintains telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc.
+ Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
+ Follow all established safety rules & regulations.
+ Operates flat bed truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, hand sinks, holding tanks or containers.
+ Updates tickets with relevant delivery or pick-up detail.
+ Operates fence truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick-up fence (chain link, panel, materials, etc.)
+ Will also act as a lead on fence jobs where a crew is assigned to the job/truck and will operate fence installation equipment.
+ Operates tanker/transfer truck to and from local dump and completes required paperwork as necessary.
+ Special projects as assigned by management.

Your Responsibilities as a Locator:
Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
These are daytime, full-time positions. We have a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates, which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed. Summary of Responsibilities
This position provides skilled labor and technical expertise in the physical locating, marking, and identification of water distribution and service lines as part of the Ohio Utility Protection Service (OUPS). In addition, this position may be required to assist in the operation, installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of water mains, hydrants, valves, meters, and other related infrastructure of the water distribution system.
Essential Duties
· Sort, and prioritize OUPS tickets.
· Locate water lines by reading and reviewing company Geographic Information System (GIS), atlas mapping, aerial photos, as-builts drawings, intersection details, and meter cards to determine water line locations.
· Locate and mark main and service water lines within the designated time frame.
· Interact and maintain a positive relationship with contractors and other individuals.
· Update and correct drawings to maintain accuracy.
· Isolate leaks and water main dig-ins by locating valves and shutting-off water.
· Assist with fixing, flushing and turning-on water mains.
· Repair meters and ruptured water lines as needed.
· Check for possible leaks by taking water samples.
· Report damage to valves and hydrants.
· Assist in the installation of water lines, water meters, setting taps, read meters, repair and maintenance of hydrants.

· Prepare reports, documents, and forms as required.

Minimum Qualifications

The Opportunity

What You'll Do

Requirements to be a Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.

As an Orchestral String Instrument Repair Technician, you will be responsible for determining each customer's repair needs, diagnosing issues, evaluating the sound, and making recommendations on what the best next steps are for repair or restoration.
You will use tools alongside your own hearing to diagnose instruments, disassemble and reassemble instruments as needed, and repair or replace instrument parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience playing and working with orchestral string instruments, have a musical background, and will have excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Listen to customer's concerns and needs about their instruments
Play instruments to help diagnose potential issues or defects & ensure repair completion
Disassemble instruments, make repairs or replace parts, and reassemble instruments
Use a variety of tools to assist in repairing instruments
Occasionally be on-site for local events to provide emergency string repair services
As the company grows, you may eventually be asked to help apprentice a new technician
The PaySalary: Hourly- or Commission-based (negotiable). If hourly, starting at $17/hr. (based on experience). If commission, 45% of labor for customer repairs.
