Production OperatorPerforms a variety of tasks requiring knowledge of production processes and responsible for day to day operations associated with the production lines.
Essential Functions
Responsible for overall maintaining of a production line, including starting and stopping of all equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.) as applicable.
Ability to perform minor adjustments to production equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report and Carton Top Load Report
Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is to be used where required.
Housekeeping: maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, including the break rooms and rest rooms. Bale plastic, cardboard and contaminated bottles when needed; grind bottles when needed.
Raw materials: keep bottle caps, labels, cartons, trays, tray and pallet wraps (plastic rolls), pallet glue for hot melt tanks, slip sheets, etc. in adequate amounts to ensure continuous smooth running of equipment and operation.
Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required
Ability to troubleshoot minor production equipment issues in all areas and collaborate with maintenance team as necessary.
Understanding of computer systems such as Oracle/MES or current order management system
Comprehension of line flow and manufacturing process to maximize through put
Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

GENERAL NATURE OF WORK:
This position performs semi-skilled work in the Parks, Recreation, and Culture division. An employee in this class is responsible for performing various tasks associated with the maintenance of streets, traffic, parks, cemeteries, buildings, and vehicles in the City. Duties are performed under the direction of the appropriate Section Leader and/or designee.
EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION: This position requires thorough knowledge of equipment operation, including pickup trucks, dump trucks, snowplows, front-end loaders, backhoes, street sweepers, mowers, small power tools, crack sealers, curb machines, jack hammers, utility vehicles, tractors, bobcats, forklifts, sign trucks, signal trucks, bucket trucks, paint machines, hand stripers, safety equipment, and a variety of hand and garden tools. The primary work site is the Municipal Maintenance Facility, City-owned facilities and grounds, and any roadways within the City limits of Beavercreek.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

Operates a variety of vehicles, machines, and equipment appropriate to job-related tasks.
Performs routine maintenance and repairs related to streets, traffic, parks, cemeteries, and facilities.
Performs various street maintenance tasks, including street maintenance, drainage, concrete work, snow plowing, utility locating, traffic signal system maintenance, street lighting system maintenance, traffic sign maintenance, and roadway marking and paint maintenance.
Performs various grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, aerating, fertilizing, pest control, leaf removal, tree removal and cleanup, and maintaining athletic fields and landscape beds.
Sets up work zones and road closures.
Removes trash from roadways and other City-owned properties.
Assembles, installs, and maintains playground equipment.
Cleans and maintains City facilities and empties trash receptacles.
Maintains fencing and roofs as necessary.
Orders materials and maintains related records.
Keeps proper records and work orders for all job-related assignments.
Sets up and tears down items needed for special events and community festivals.
Repairs and maintains all necessary tools and equipment.
Directs the activities of part-time, seasonal, and volunteer personnel.

Performs other duties as assigned, including work in other City divisions as necessary.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver License.
Must maintain a valid Ohio Class ‘A' Commercial Driver License with airbrake and tanker endorsements. This license must be obtained within three (3) months of hire date.
Ability to work other than normal working hours and to work various shifts as necessary.
Must be in good physical condition, i.e., able to pass all required physical exams and drug testing as required by the State of Ohio and/or City of Beavercreek.
Ability to grasp, lift, and maneuver hand tools, power tools, equipment, and materials of various weights and sizes, in a manner which is safe and effective in the performance of work.

A Brief Overview

Responsibilities Works with a crew as a leader in the operation of a water treatment plant; responsible for processing water to make it stable, potable and in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensures that chemical feeding and mixing mechanisms are operating correctly, collects and analyzes water samples and reads and logs data from SCADA. Performs minor repairs and/or maintenance on pumps and related equipment. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduation from high school (or G.E.D.).
Experience Must have 12 months of actual hands-on experience in the specific operation and maintenance of Water Supply and Treatment or Wastewater Treatment equipment in one or more of the following area(s): daily plant operations, daily plant maintenance, plant laboratory work, sludge handling, military experience in potable water/wastewater treatment, troubleshooting plant operations, and/or industrial pre-treatment. Certifications AT TIME OF APPOINTMENT, must possess and maintain an Ohio EPA Water Supply I certification until an Ohio EPA Water Supply II certification is obtained.
Must meet the following requirements and maintain as a condition of continued employment:
Must obtain an interim Ohio EPA Laboratory Operational certification within 3 months of appointment.

Refresh is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented and self-motivated individuals to join our operations. Our Flooring Technicians perform a multitude of flooring cleaning and repair services throughout the area as well as water restoration and extraction services.
This is a part time position but can quickly switch to a full time role. Pay is $16 to $22 per hour PLUS Commission potential!
Your workday will start at our shop in Cleveland, where you pick up the van. Day to day work would be performed using company equipment and vehicles on multiple different job sites in the Cleveland and Akron areas. All of our equipment, including our truck mounts are in good condition for you seasoned techs out there. Refresh focuses on the apartment make ready space with carpet cleaning, stain removal, repairs and more.
