Lakeside Neurologic is currently interviewing for the position of Maintenance Utility Service Worker. Maintenance USW’s are important team members at the facility. Team members are required to perform the following tasks:
What We’re Looking For:
Lakeside Neurologic is seeking a Maintenance Utility Service Worker who will be responsible for all maintenance and equipment. The position involves a combination of hands-on repairs and maintenance of the buildings throughout the facility.
What You’ll Do:
Serves as point of contact for all facility and equipment maintenance, defects and repair work.
Performs scheduled maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Performs minor facility renovation/remodeling
Complies with all safety regulations as stated in the facilities safety program, and reports safety-related accidents, incidents, and unsafe work conditions.
Attend safety-training programs as required.
Must be available on an on-call basis and be available to work various shifts and assignments (position is designated for swing shift).
What You’ll Bring:

Skills required include basic electrical, HVAC/R, plumbing, painting, drywall, and carpentry, mechanical and preventive maintenance as required to complete the assigned work. EPA HVAC certification desired and will be considered a plus

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Assists with installation, maintenance and repairs of water taps, water lines, sewer lines, manholes and fire hydrants.
* Locates water and wastewater lines for preparing work sites and for outside servicers and contractors to protect County system lines from damage.
* Operates vacuum truck and excavation equipment.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate trucks and various hand-held manual and gas-powered tools and equipment. Must be able to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
