Basic Home Infusion is hiring for a Home Infusion Nurse in the Omaha, NE area. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving intrathecal pain or spasticity management therapy in the comfort of their homes, or in a clinic setting.
You will have the ability to maintain your own schedule while traveling within the area (up to, but not limited to 180-miles). This is a part-time position that operates 2 days a week in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and manage intrathecal pump therapy for patients with chronic pain or spasticity.
· Perform pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in coordination with prescribing providers.
· Educate patients and caregivers on medication regimens, pump function, and signs of adverse reactions or infection.
· Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Qualifications

Pay: $31.50-$38.25 per hour. Additional certifications/education could qualify for a higher wage.
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN options available. 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am

What are my responsibilities?
Implements quality nursing and clinical measures to maintain/increase elders' physical/mental wellbeing.
Responsible for knowing the skin care policy and ensuring preventative measures are used to maintain the skin integrity of all elders.
Monitors guests for changes in condition and coordinates care with physicians.
Reviews care plan of each resident, making changes as the resident's condition or plan of care changes and completes an admission care plan in a timely manner.
Completes prescribed treatments and ensures medication is administered timely, in private, and per facility procedure.
What do I need to be considered?
STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
An active RN/LPN license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state).
Focus on resident care, team player.
