As a Packer, this candidate will be responsible for inspecting and packing quality products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers in a team atmosphere while responsible for their individual station.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any changes.
* Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
* Moves product from packing area to warehouse by pulling jacks filled with product.
* Accurately scans finished product into inventory with use of scanning equipment.
* Sets up mats and cartons for packers before production begins each day.
* Prepares packing area when packaging different products.
* Helps relieve for breaks and lunches.
* Must be able to safely maneuver and lift up to 50lbs.
* Understands how to operate the Shrink Wrapper.
* Helps clean floor and equipment in packing room weekly in addition to other Sanitation duties as assigned.
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
* Requires basic math and reading skills.

**Your Role at KIK**
The Blow Mold Midnight Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing plastic bottles, monitoring automated equipment to prevent jams, and reporting any defects or machine issues. The role supports smooth production flow by keeping lines clear, labeling finished goods accurately, assisting with inventory counts, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for each shift.
**This role is based on site at our Mars, PA facility with the hours of 11:30 PM to 7:40 AM, Sunday to Thursday. The pay range for this position is $19-21/hr.**
**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Lifts and transports bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assembles them into grouped boxes, and secures them with twine.
+ Inspects plastic bottles for defects such as holes, surface lines, or water spots, and packs all approved bottles into boxes.
+ Monitors automated machinery to prevent operational jams.
+ Notifies the supervisor of any defective bottles or equipment malfunctions.
+ Ensures conveyor belts remain clear of excess bottles.
+ Operates the bagger machine as required.
+ Alerts appropriate personnel when additional raw materials are needed.
+ Tracks the number of bottles produced during each shift.
+ Accurately labels boxes or bags with the correct date and shift identification, following designated color-coding requirements.
+ Supports departmental inventory activities and performs routine record-keeping tasks.
