Role Synopsis
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Facilities Engineer to support the BPX Permian Operations team. The Permian asset is the focus of significant annual capital investment for 2025 and beyond, with a long-term plan to profitably grow production and optimize our well management strategy.
This role will work closely with field staff, other engineers, and management to apply Production Engineering practices to maximize the value of the Permian asset. This role will be responsible for executing a consistent facilities performance management cadence, with specific focus on the safety, reliability, and modification of facilities in support of broader Permian Operations Objectives.
The Permian Operations engineering team is based out of Denver, CO.
Key accountabilities
Perform brownfield project level and rapid response engineering across the Upstream Permian Operations Organization.
Drive production efficiency and process safety improvement by actively supporting operations with Management of Change, HAZOP / LOPA, design reviews, and procedure development.
Embrace and pioneer the Intelligent Operations model, cultivating an interdependent culture and a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement through effective root cause analysis.
Lead and cultivate the relationship between engineering and field operations to identify systematic improvements and eliminate repeat failures.
Participate in risk assessments inclusive of HAZOP / LOPA to eliminate personal and process safety risks through effective implementation of the hierarchy of controls.
Responsible for facilities engineering processes, ensuring efficient and effective integration with front line field personal for all accountable execution activities including procurement and specialty 3rd party coordination.
Work closely with maintenance and operations teams in performing RCFA and defect elimination to continuously improve facility reliability and integrity management.
Provide positive leadership while being a team player, and share lessons learned across disciplines and between business functions.
Provide facilities engineering expertise, by performing multi-discipline engineering activities through technical practices across multiple disciplines in the design and execution of small projects, maintenance, or operations support.
Participate in BP technical networks and communities of practice, maintaining a strong awareness of technical learnings and developing links with specialists and engineers from a range of disciplines.
Follow BP's Engineering Principles, comply with BP's Code of Conduct, and model BP's Values & Behaviors. We will expect travel to the field approximately 25% percent of the time to meet with the field team and critical contractual partners.
Essential Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
7-15 years experience in production, facilities, or electrical engineering
Knowledgeable in upstream facilities engineering in liquids rich basins; facilities design, troubleshooting and optimization
Experience with cost modeling, root cause analysis, systems optimization
Travel Requirement:
Up to 25% travel should be expected with this role
How much do we pay (Base) $156,000-$184,000. Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

The Sr. Aeromechanical Design Engineer is a key member of an air vehicle IPT team of medium UAV systems for both military and commercial applications. Within this position, one's primary duties are focused on:
Performs all aspects of vehicle design from initial concept to complete production-ready design.
Resolution of design challenges and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering groups.
Builds and tests prototype systems to validate designs

The salary range for this role is:

The Opportunity:
As a Senior SCADA Engineer with Enel Green Power North America, you will be assigned technical tasks of maintenance and projects on SCADA systems for renewable generation and BESS systems. Supervised by the Manager, Scada and Controls, your role will be to maintain the fleet of SCADA systems for Enel Green Power North America generation plants through various tasks such as planned maintenance, troubleshooting, incident management, change requests, take part to the definition of evolution plan and projects, major system upgrades, cyber security projects, etc. Tasks will be mostly driven by the business needs from Operations.
What You'll Do at Enel North America:
* Work on incidents and change management requests in close coordination with the EGPNA ICS Service Desk to ensure high system availability and reliability. Tasks include advanced troubleshooting, coordination with contractors and software supplier's expert, root cause analysis, etc. Intervention is performed mainly remote.
* Write, review and update work incident reports and operating procedures;
* Collaborate with the EGPNA ICS Service Desk to analyze & report Plant-facing issues such as incidents, requests, availability, and compliance and perform detailed problem analysis on critical incidents to prevent reoccurring issues and improve resolution time;
* Measure KPIs to evaluate the performance of the Plant-facing systems;

The Systems/Software Technical Lead - (F130 Electronic Engine Control) will have direct responsibility of leading a team of Systems engineers through the development, testing and qualifying airworthy/certified engine control software.

The Rolls-Royce F130 is the engine selected to power the B-52J, the U.S.'s iconic strategic bomber. The F130 is the military designation of the BR725 engine, a proven commercial engine which will require some adaptation for integration into the Boeing B-52 platform. Low-rate initial production is slated for 2029, which is proceeded by the integration, prototyping, test and production stand-up of the F130 in Indianapolis.

POSTITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Principal Application Engineer - Utility Scale Storage who is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for Battery Energy Storage Solutions. PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews customer and utility interconnection requirements and helps select the right SMA products, solutions, and services. Assists customers in the project design process. Supports Key customers and EPC customer base.
Deep technical knowledge of BESS control architecture, selection of inverter solutions based on project requirements, integration with Energy Management Systems and overall project design.
Creates and delivers internal and external technical training - mentors Application Engineers, Sales, and Service colleagues.
Creates sales materials, to be used by the sales staff during meetings with existing customers and potential new clients.
Conducts competitor analysis and provides technical argumentation to successfully compete against the analyzed products and/or solutions.
Attends industry conferences and trade shows as necessary.
Serves as a liaison between the US sales team and the technical team at SMA HQ in Germany. Interface to product management and engineering.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or direct relevant experience is a must; an additional master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering would be a strong plus.
Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in engineering or additional experience in other technical BESS related disciplines are a plus. Experience in renewable energy is required.
In depth knowledge of power electronics including inverters and transformers is required.
In depth knowledge of control architectures related to BESS projects is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In depth knowledge in power systems design is preferred.
Sound knowledge of the US energy sector including applicable norms, standards and regulations strongly desired.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, etc.).

Work Environment & Travel:
40-hour work week with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, business conditions permitting. Eligibility for the hybrid work week begins after completion of the ninety-day introductory period of employment where all training will occur onsite.
This position will have up to 50% planned, overnight travel to other site locations within the Company that could include weekends and Holidays.

Provide mechanical engineering support to assigned refinery business team. Ensure their assigned business team is supported from a reliability, mechanical integrity, and technical mechanical repair perspective.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Fixed Equipment Engineer is responsible for supporting their business team on fixed equipment reliability and repairs.
Review and recommend immediate/temporary/permanent repairs for identified anomalies or deficiencies under the guidance of a more experienced Engineer.
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis initiatives.
Serve as a safety champion throughout the refinery complex by ensuring full compliance to critical safety requirements including appropriate use of PPE, support of safe work practices and participate in all safety-related activities.
Long-term Support & Leadership (Strategic responsibilities)
The Fixed Equipment Engineer will work under the guidance of an experienced Engineer to set long-term equipment reliability goals, evaluate technical assessments.
Under the guidance of an experienced Engineer, develop Fixed Equipment Engineer critical equipment and bad actor list for their business team.
Under the guidance of an experienced Engineer, review technical and economic analysis of repairs to justify engineering improvement and recommended priorities.
Support the implementation of risk-based and inspection strategies for equipment assets including piping, vessels, reactors, fired heaters, boilers, and other appropriate HC processing equipment.
Communication Responsibilities
Maintain effective lines of communication across the refinery including the Inspection group, Maintenance, Operations, Process Engineering, etc.
Ensure appropriate communication / work with Inspections, Process Engineers, and Operations in predicting failures and proactively provide resolutions to reliability issues.
Turnaround Responsibilities
Under the guidance of an experienced Engineer, participate in the Risk Based Work Selection (RBWS) process for turnaround scope development.
Under the guidance of an experienced Engineer, ensure appropriate turnaround engineering package development support during scope development, as well as timely and accurate mechanical engineering solutions for outage discovery work.
Reporting & Documentation
Complete assigned Reliability Department Reports.
Follow the program to maintain neat and orderly mechanical/fixed equipment engineering files.
Unit Upsets & Outages / Mechanical Troubleshooting
Provide fixed equipment engineering coverage during unit upsets and outages and ensure effective communication through accurate shift updates and shift turnover.
Ensure appropriate regular updates are issued during shutdowns/startups, ongoing unit upsets and critical troubleshooting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Less than 2 years of relevant job experience.
