Manually cleans, high level disinfects and stores endoscopes within the standards and protocols set by the manufacturer and the healthcare facility. 5. Communicates to the RN any observed changes in patient status and responses. Maintains awareness of the needs of the pediatric, geriatric and general patient population. 6. Provides patients with assistance with activities of daily living. Provides additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients. Assists in transporting patients to the unit/floor. Assists in transporting patient on/off surgery bed. 7. Correctly processes and transports specimens to the lab. 8. Assists anesthesia and other surgery staff members with needs for supplies and equipment. 9. Maintains Rep Scrub vending machine ensuring products are stocked in machines on a weekly basis. 10. Utilizes scripting and key words at key times for all interactions with patients, families, visitors and hospital staff. Ensures confidentiality of patient records. Consistently meets standard inspection rating. Experience: Experience in terminal cleaning of Operating Rooms preferred.
