Solves complex medical problems associated with work fitness for duty and safe return to work. Manages, mentors, and develops clinic staff. At least 8 years' experience in occupational health, urgent care, or emergency room setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. SKILLS: Ability to evaluate complex medical situations and worker injuries independently, within scope of practice, with an ability to identify and elevate complex medical cases. Ability to make sound judgments regarding fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations. Skilled in managing medical emergencies and collaborating with internal and external response teams. Completes OSHA/DOT mandated exams independently. Manages/supports local Case Management requiring little support from supervision. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations governing occupational health. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
