What You'll Do
Business Development, Capture and Pre-RFP Solutioning
Support BD meetings and pre-RFP shaping for federal civilian and DoD opportunities, positioning Valiant to win new business.
Includes leading technical discussions to listen to customer needs and explain Valiant's capabilities.
Analyze RFIs, RFPs, SOW/PWS, agency roadmaps, and mission needs to identify technical requirements, discriminators, and solution strategies.
Support the development of customer, market, and competitor analysis to inform technical win strategies.
Lead discussions with partners and subcontractors regarding solution components, integration considerations, and technical alignment.
Technical Solution Architecture
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for opportunities in cybersecurity, cloud, data, enterprise operations, and SOC modernization.
Includes identifying approach, win themes, diagrams, and graphics for a full to partial security program solution and other infrastructure and AppDev programs.
Develop as-is and to-be architectures, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), process flows, system diagrams, and functional models.
Build solution components, including:
Level of Effort (LOE) analysis
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Pricing inputs and rationalization
Staffing and labor allocation modeling
Create innovative, mission-focused architectures aligned to federal mandates such as Zero Trust, M-21-31, TIC 3.0, and modernization goals.
Stay abreast of emerging standards, technologies, directives, and modernization trends, and make recommendations for adoption and integration into current or future offerings.
Recommend new tools, platforms, and capabilities for integration into Valiant's offerings.
Proposal Writing and Technical Content Development
Prepare, lead, and write technical sections for RFIs/RFPs, ensuring clarity, compliance, and readability for technical and non-technical reviewers.
Support oral proposal development with technical talking points, architecture visualizations, and clear solution explanations.
Work closely with proposal managers, SMEs, and the CTO to validate technical feasibility while maintaining a cohesive narrative.
Engage with multiple Valiant programs to understand existing capabilities and infuse lessons learned into future solutioning efforts.
