How you'll change lives
As a Dietitian at U.S. Renal Care, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing excellent care for patients living with kidney disease. U.S. Renal care dietitians work under the supervision of a RDN Regional Manager.
What you'll be doing
Patient Nutrition. Using the most current, science-based practices, you will recommend therapeutic diets based on patient nutritional needs, preferences, and changes in treatment, in consultation with the patient's physician. You will review lab results and provide appropriate education for nutritional interventions on such topics as fluid and sodium, potassium, and CKD-Mineral and Bone Disorder management. You will also conduct patient assessments and care planning activities, as well as participating in monthly interdisciplinary patient care conferences.
Teamwork. You will collaborate with the Medical Director, physician/advanced practice provider, facility administrator, social worker, nurse, and patient care technician to maintain positive relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, agencies, vendors, and the community.
Safety & Quality. You will help with clinical and operational processes, with a focus on improving patient health and achieving target goals for patient outcomes. You will also help maintain a productive quality assurance program and participate in monthly Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
What we're looking for
Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification showing proof of registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration (includes Baccalaureate or Advanced degree).
Minimum of one-year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable state is required unless employed in the state of AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA. State certification (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist) required in CT and NY. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all company clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.

Duties and Responsibilities
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:
· Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.

Salary and Benefits

Experience: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:
· Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
· Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.

Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:
Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.

Flight hour logbooks will be required at the time of your Flight Assessment for verification.
Other Requirements

Responsibilities
SWCC are extensively trained to execute high-risk warfare and reconnaissance missions in river and coastline settings. As a member of this tightly-knit community, you may:
* Insert and extract SEALs and other Special Operations personnel from a variety of Naval Surface Warfare vessels
* Collect important data about enemy military installations and shipping traffic in coastal areas
* Assist other military and civilian law enforcement agencies

Work Environment
Special Warfare Combat Crewman undertake missions the U.S. Navy keeps very quiet because of how vitally important they are. They are extensively trained to execute high-risk warfare and reconnaissance missions in river and coastline settings. SWCC operators may be deployed anywhere in the world and operate day or night in cold weather, desert, tropical or jungle environments. Though much of your time will be spent training or in the field on missions, you may work in an office on administration duties from time to time. As the Sailors who insert and extract Navy SEALs from classified locations around the world, they are true warriors-highly trained, disciplined and distinguished.
Training & Advancement
As a SWCC operator, you will undergo some of the most demanding physical and mental training in the world.
While at Recruit Training Command (RTC), also known as Boot Camp, you will take part in a rigorous physical examination and medical screening. Upon review of your entrance medical examinations, further physical screening tests will be given at RTC and at the Naval Special Warfare Center (SWCC School). Following completion of boot camp, you will begin specialized training including:
Naval Special Warfare Orientation (7 weeks)in Coronado, CA, for physical and psychological preparation for Basic SWCC Training (BCT)
Basic SWCC Training (7 weeks) in Coronado, CA, for mental and physical testing ultimately resulting in selection to continue training
Basic Crewmember Training (BCT) (7 weeks) in Coronado, CA

Education Opportunities
Members of the Naval Special Warfare community have any number of unique opportunities to advance their education. Navy training provides everything from the fundamentals of explosive ordnance disposal, to knowledge of chemical and biological warfare, military tactics, deep-sea diving or a number of other tactical military procedures.
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy training in the NSW field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.

Qualifications & Requirements
A high school degree or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Navy SWCC operator, but the standards of qualification require the kind of mental and physical fortitude that few possess. For those making the cut, immense challenges and constant training are a way of life.
To qualify for SWCC training, you must:
* Meet specific eyesight requirements: 20/40 best eye; 20/70 worst eye; correctable to 20/25. Ask your local Navy recruiter about color blindness.
* Meet the minimum Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score: AR+VE ≥105, MC ≥ 51 or AR + 2MK + GS = 210 and MC ≥ 51
* Be less than 31 years old
* Be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance
SWCCs should possess an aptitude for mechanical skills, study habits, arithmetic and basic algebra, and ability to work with others as a team.
You should be in excellent physical condition and motivated to endure rigorous physiological demands. Strong swimming skills and the ability to withstand fatigue is essential. SWCCs must be able to work under stressful and hazardous conditions. Important personal traits also include self-assurance and self-confidence, high moral character and the willingness to follow orders.

Psychology Adjunct Instructor (Pool)

Application Pool Notice Laredo College continuously accepts applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors to create a pool of candidates for each session/semester. Applications will be reviewed and positions will be filled based on department needs. Applications received for this pool will remain active for one year.
Position Requirements
Upon employment, candidate must reside in the state of Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the Department Chairperson, with the approval of the Dean of Arts & Sciences and the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
* Teach Psychology courses. Instructors would teach face-to-face, online, dual enrollment, or hybrid courses.
* Prepare and, on the first day of class, distribute departmental syllabus which informs students in writing about course requirements as to absences, tardiness, testing, assignments, and grading policies.
* Inform students of their progress by promptly returning assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
* Compile, administer, and grade instruments that evaluate student progress.
* Encourage the use of the Library, the Tutoring Center, the Counseling Center and other supportive services.
* Counsel students and notify student or counselors of frequent absences, failures, or necessary make-up work.
* Meet all assigned classes on time in the assigned classrooms and be available to students 15 minutes before class, except between classes when teaching back-to-back classes, and 15 minutes after class per day in the Adjunct office or the Tutoring Center.
* Be available for one hour per class taught for office hours in the adjunct office, tutoring center, or other area as approved by the Department Chair.
* Use Canvas as the LMS and grade book.
* Follow procedures related to the Registrar's Office, including grade reports and deadlines, attendance record reports, withdrawal deadlines, mid-semester progress reports, and the like.
* Follow the academic calendar and procedures as outlined in the Faculty Procedures Manual.
* Direct library research or other outside assignments.
* Promote College programs and curricula.
* Update syllabi at least every two years.
* Substitute for colleagues when necessary.
* Cooperate in evaluation procedures by students, Department Chairperson, Dean of Arts & Sciences, and the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs.
* Provide a safe environment for students and be responsible for the security of assigned equipment, materials, and classrooms.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson, Dean of Arts & Sciences, Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs or President.

Required:
* Master's Degree, eighteen graduate hours in Psychology.
* Some experience in teaching, preferably at the junior and/or senior college level.
* Be knowledgeable, mature, and concerned with the academic progress of students. Be cooperative and professional in dealing with college administrators, colleagues, and students.
* Ability to provide service to a diverse population, to operate specialized equipment, audio-visual aids, and to develop lecture strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
