Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and production of material handling, storage, and safety related products. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who wants exposure to real production hardware, manufacturing support, and product lifecycle ownership. Create and update 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
Apply company drawing standards, tolerances, weld symbols, and basic GD&T.
Maintain accurate part data, revisions, and metadata in PDM and MRP systems.
Manufacturing & Shop Collaboration
Work closely with fabrication, welding, assembly, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and buildable.
Support fixture design and basic prototyping as needed.
Identify potential pinch points, cut hazards, or ergonomic concerns early and help implement improvements.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in root-cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications

Position Overview:

Schedule: 1st Shift - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm M-Th (up to 5:30 pm with OT), Fridays as needed.
What Were Looking For
A driven Welder to facilitate the production of company products and custom orders.
What Youll Do:
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor/team lead, you will fabricate daily orders.
What We Need From You:
Competent in welding technique and integrity MIG and/or TIG
Ability to set up and operate equipment/machinery with minor assistance
Ability to adjust the machine to the appropriate thickness
Ability to position pieces into jigs, fixtures, and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools
Produce product to quality standards
Work toward meeting the 3 cabinet per hour minimum
Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
Machine/material knowledge operations, light maintenance, safety requirements
Ability to follow direction from trainers and/or supervisors
Requires assistance in blueprint reading
Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
Additional duties as needed
Requirements:
1 + years of experience MIG welding.
Knowledge of the metalworking industry, equipment, and processes.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

What We Need From You
Operate power tools
Testing of parts and mechanisms
Select and wrap product in protective materials
Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
Box, crate or palletize and stretch wrap products for shipment
Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications
Monitor and maintain product quality
Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing processes
