Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.

**The Role**
As a Senior Lead Database Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of administration, security, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and data replication in our Oracle database environments, while providing strategic guidance and advanced troubleshooting for complex application/database challenges. You will be a part of a hybrid DBA support model (onshore/offshore) working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations, to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems.
**The Main Responsibilities**
-Provide expert technical direction in the creation, delivery and integration of multiple and complex database solutions for a design and/or production environment.
-Consult and collaborate with multiple teams in the following areas: Design - design database solutions, convert logical design into physical database, perform problem determination and resolution, and perform database design process and reviews.
-Production - perform database management, resolve database problems, and provide database security.
-Explore and evaluate new and emerging technologies relating to the design and/or production database environment. Develop and drive overall DB solutions and strategies.
-Evaluate and recommend new db tools and emerging technologies.
-Create DB standards and processes.
-Consult and collaborate with Architecture and Infrastructure on IT wide solutions.
-Lead complex outage analysis and resolution.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ Experience in Oracle 19c and 12c including RAC, ASM, OEM, GoldenGate and Data Guard.
+ Backup/recovery expertise using RMAN.
+ In depth knowledge and experience with DB upgrades, re-hosting, and patching.
+ Experience leading database design reviews, access methods, database performance and SQL tuning, security policies, and pre/post implementation capacity planning.
+ 10+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
+ Good design, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to understand end user experience.
+ Excellent organization, oral and written communications skills.
+ Ability to achieve GSA suitability (government security clearance **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Oracle Database Administration certification desired but not required.In-depth knowledge of multiple database technologies, and experience leading integration efforts between technologies.Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL database technologies a plus.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Position Summary:
The Perinatal Peer Mentor provides compassionate, recovery-oriented support to pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women impacted by substance use disorders (SUD) in a hospital setting. This role bridges the gap between patients and medical staff, supports engagement in recovery and treatment, and assists with coordination of care both during hospitalization and through the transition into community-based treatment and recovery supports. The Peer Mentor utilizes lived experience, recovery knowledge, and trauma-informed practices to reduce stigma, improve outcomes, and foster hope and empowerment for patients and their families.
Essential Job Functions:
Build trusting, supportive relationships with perinatal and postpartum patients identified as having current or past SUD.
Utilize lived experience to offer understanding, hope, and motivation for recovery, normalizing addiction as a treatable chronic disease.
Provide one-on-one peer support to help patients identify and work toward individualized recovery and wellness goals.
Assist patients in recognizing and accessing available SUD treatment, recovery, and community resources.
Offer continued support through hospital discharge and transitional periods, including telephone or virtual follow-up to promote ongoing engagement.
Educate patients and families about addiction, recovery, and available supports in a compassionate, stigma-free manner.
Respond appropriately to patients and families in crisis, helping de-escalate and connect them to clinical or emergency supports as needed.
Complete screenings and evaluations to assist in determining potential appropriate levels of care and treatment placement.
Develop and coordinate individualized discharge and transition plans connecting patients to outpatient or residential treatment, recovery housing, and other supports.
Collaborate closely with hospital staff in the OB and NICU units to identify, engage, and support women with SUD.
Coordinate the delivery of a broad range of SUD services and interventions to reduce unnecessary hospital utilization and maximize treatment engagement.
Participate in planning and implementing strategies to achieve appropriate length of stay for patients in acute care settings.
Identify high utilizers of acute care and assist in developing interventions to connect them to long-term, community-based services.
Maintain regular contact with referral sources and external providers to ensure continuity of care.
Facilitate connections and linkages to recovery communities, peer networks, and support groups.
Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital or clinical staff to ensure clear, compassionate communication and coordinated care.
Advocate for patients' voices, needs, and choices.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Adhere to all policies and procedures related to clinical, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Obtain and maintain Kansas Certified Peer Mentor Certification, Levels I and II.
