Basic Function
Under supervision, process screen products to meet the requirements of the customer.

The Opportunity
Tuffy's Pet Food is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Night Shift, Assistant Mill Operator (Inside). The job objective is to unload raw ingredients and assist Mill Room Operator in the batching, mixing and grinding feed following all quality and safety requirements set forth in company policies. This position will report to the Mill Supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Sample incoming loads of raw ingredients and deliver to the lab. To assure they meet the quality standards set for each individual incoming ingredient.
Weigh the trucks in and out and assure that all paper work (PO, Bill of Lading, seals etc.) are in proper order.
Set the unloading system to the proper bin that will hold the incoming ingredient. All settings must be double checked and verified by the Mill Operator.
Hand stack 50# bags of minor ingredients around the mixers for dumping into the batch.
Weigh micro ingredients that need to be added to the batch.
Double check with Mill Operator when setting grinding or blow back bins.
Must observe and understand Mill Operator position to be able to step if needed.
Daily coordination of receiving trucks from storage lot.
Daily cleaning of Mill and driveway area.
Deliver bagged ingredients via forklift from the warehouse to the driveway to dump major hand add bagged products into the unloading pits.
Weekly inspection of Rotex and leg magnets. Assist with monthly and semi-annual inventories.
Train new departmental employees.
Qualifications
General mathematical ability and basic computer skills
Must not be afraid of heights or manlift, ability to climb 150 feet
Learning, memorizing and executing a sequence of procedures
Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English

Maintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control
Involvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse

Answers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquette

Job Description
Dura Supreme Cabinetry is hiring MachineOperators for both 1st and 2nd Shift to work in our Howard Lake facility.
In this role, as a MachineOperator is responsible for operating various machines in their assigned department.
Machineoperating in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 6am-4:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4pm-2:30am*
Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour *$3.00 night shift differential

Verifies work orders selecting correct program for machining parts.
Assures proper materials are being used according to production requirements and the material being used meets quality standards.
Uses measuring tools to verify machine accuracy and calibration, and records on audit sheets.
Labels, sorts, or stacks machined parts for next step in the manufacturing process.
Performs daily and weekly maintenance and informs Manager or leadperson of any deficiencies.
Operates equipment at maximum capacity safely.
Participates and contributes to a Work Team environment and follows Quality Control checks.
Follows all Safety Rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
The ability to read measurements, work, or calculate numbers.
The ability to use handheld tools or the willingness to learn.
Must be 18 years of age
Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Experience in a production-oriented environment.
Additionally, selected candidates will be evaluated for several production-related roles based on business needs. All positions are physically demanding in some way; however, some roles require:
The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.; and
The ability to stand or walk up to an entire shift (up to 10-12 hours).
