The Manager of Central Operations is responsible for leading day-to-day operations at Smarte Carte's primary warehouse and production facility in White Bear Lake, MN. This role oversees all operational functions within the facility, including logistics, production and assembly, quality, inventory, safety, and facilities management.
The position requires a hands-on operations leader with strong systems acumen, people leadership capability, and the ability to translate demand, production requirements, and inventory strategy into safe, efficient, and predictable execution. While oversight is currently limited to a single warehouse, the scope of responsibility spans end-to-end operational execution with direct impact on cost, service levels, and customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & People Management
Build, lead, and sustain a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused operations culture
Establish clear performance expectations; provide routine feedback and coaching
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide compensation and workforce planning input
Manage staffing levels, schedules, wages, and use of contract labor
Operations Execution
Lead warehouse, production, and assembly operations to meet production, quality, and service targets

Inventory, Production & Systems
Maintain working knowledge of BOM structures, production orders, and sales order flows

The Role:
The Franchise Team is responsible for driving new revenue growth for DailyPay with franchise businesses. The Franchise Operations & Marketing Manager is the backbone of our franchise strategy. This role will be responsible for overseeing our franchise data, developing and managing initiatives with our partners, building brand playbooks, and assisting at tradeshows. This is a highly cross-functional position that will work closely with sales, marketing, revops, implementation, and CS to help ensure we are engaging with qualified prospects and creating a great experience for them at DailyPay.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, energetic, and self-starting individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:
Own and manage our strategic initiatives with franchise and associations partnerships including marketing opportunities, webinars, events, etc
Analyze and review the performance of lead generation and sales into designated brands, including financial analysis
Build and manage playbooks for each of our target brands, keeping accurate records of TMS and payroll systems by brand, including monitoring TMS transitions to communicate to GTM and CS teams
Own the creation and management of brand-specific cadences for each target brand/industry, utilizing up-to-date intel
Manage and track performance of cadences in Salesloft Leverage AI to streamline our enablement process with Franchise BDRs and AEs
Partner closely with RevOps to ensure accurate reports are created to track brand penetration and conversion
Build a network of franchise brand referrals using tools like Deeto Partner with marketing to ensure GTM teams have necessary assets and content for target brands - one sheets, press releases, customer testimonials
Systematically ensure we are building an asset library for all target brands Partner with franchise brand managers and the DailyPay events team on executing events and marketing initiatives to drive customer loyalty and new opportunity generation
Help manage strategic initiatives with franchise associations and channel partners, including sales training, joint-press campaigns, case studies, and webinars
Manage and track marketing deliverables and report on progress, campaign and event results
Analyze and review the performance of lead generation and sales into designated brands, including financial analysis
Attend events and conferences as necessary to represent the company
What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a bonus for experience intersecting with franchises
Familiarity with franchise systems
Strong project management skills with superb attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with various internal teams and external partners
Proven history of managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and driving meaningful results
Knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques for selling complex solutions. Knowledge of HCM/payroll is a plus
