GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.
Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR's), within 30 days of hire.
SALARY RANGE
$20.41-$30.02/hour (PCT Clinic)
$21.23-$31.22/hour (CNA Clinic)
$22.08 to $32.47/hour (MA Clinic)
Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for PCT/CNA/MA
Eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus for a six-month full-time commitment to VVH.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
* High School diploma or equivalent, required.
* CMA or RMA is required.
* If not currently credentialed (CMA or RMA) as a MedicalAssistant, will need to obtain that credential within 6 (six) months of hire.
* Current BLS - American Heart Association- Certification or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
Skills:
* Phlebotomy experience preferred.
* Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.
Experience:
* Recent health care setting experience or a graduate from a MedicalAssistant program with the last year, preferred.
SALARY RANGE
* $21.23 to $31.22/hour
* Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
