We're looking for a Patient Access Professional for our Rehab department! As the Rehab Patient Access Professional, you will: * 1. Verifies insurance and benefits for Rehab patients * 2. Acquires Insurance Authorization for Rehab patients when needed * 3. Communicates with Rehab staff patient's benefits and authorization request status * 4. Communicates directly with patients in regard to their therapy benefits. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: * High School graduate or equivalent * One to two years of customer service experience required. Experience: * Previous experience in insurance verification, patient registration, collections or billing required. Other Skills: * Previous experience in insurance verification, patient registration, collections or billing required. * Courtesy, patience, and tact when dealing with the public; Exceptional customer service skills required. * Bilingual highly preferred (English/Spanish). * Ability to work under variable conditions. * Well-organized, dependable and flexible; Strong computer and typing skills. * Must be a team player.
