The Cath Lab RN plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice during pre, intra and post care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. Required: * Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program * State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). * BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association with cards in-hand before start date. * 3 years RN Cath Lab/EP experience minimum. * Vascular and/or CVOR experience is a plus We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. This covers: Patient hemodynamically unstable requiring: a. Intravenous vasoactive agents/titrating drips b. Fluid resuscitation Life-threatening conditions requiring: a. Emergency drug administration (e.g., epinephrine, atropine) Compromised air exchange requiring: a. Continuous respiratory monitors b. Use of a manual resuscitation device (AMBU/anesthesia bag) Cardiac dysfunction requiring: a. Continuous ECG monitoring b. A temporary pacemaker c. Elective cardioversion d. A transcutaneous (external pacemaker) e. Preparing, monitoring and recovery of a patient undergoing permanent pacemaker insertion f. Intravenous antidysrhythmic agents g. Defibrillation. * Calibrates, adjusts, maintains and operates equipment as necessary to ensure the safe, accurate administration of tests and procedures. Performs preventative maintenance and reports any malfunctions. * Enhances the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel * Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety.
