Documents all quality control as required for MQSA. + Utilizes Radiology Information System (RIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) following established practice guidelines. + Follows established quality assurance/quality control program. Monitors the operating condition of the equipment and accessories. Contacts service engineer and promptly reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. + Maintains inventory of supplies used, according to established levels. + Communicates clearly, effectively and appropriately both verbally and with written communication. Demonstrates courteous and appropriate telephone skills. Regions Hospital is adding to our General Diagnostics team! The X-ray Technologist will perform basic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and a wide variety of specialized and/or complicated exams, and function as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns. Work Schedule: Per diem shifts as needed. Must work a minimum of one shift per month. Required Qualifications: Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent. Twelve months of radiologic technologist clinical experience, preferably in X-ray/General Diagnostics. For previous Regions Hospital radiologic technologist interns, a limited scope license may substitute for experience. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have passed the limited scope of practice in radiology from ARRT and obtain ARRT registry within six months of hire. Additional Information: This is a non-union per diem (0 set hours per pay period) position, working in Saint Paul, MN.
