We are looking for a Capital to Service Manager for our Energy Services projects in Central Europe North area. You will be managing the transition of our new capital deliveries to be our future service customers related to technologies such as recovery boilers, power boilers and environmental systems.

As a Capital to Service Manager your responsibility is managing the warranty period of our new delivered capital projects. You will be the main contact point for the client during that period and manage the interface with the business unit. Your main role is to secure a successful warranty period in terms of customer satisfaction, securing the high availability of our deliveries together with the client's team, minimizing the spending of Valmet during the warranty period and managing the contingencies in the best possible way. In your role you will also prepare the after-warranty service sales generate leads together with the local sales team in terms of one-time service opportunities up to long term service agreements. You will work in a matrix environment cooperating with master service centers, the regions, and the capital delivery team. In your new role you will be reporting to the Director Energy Sales and Service operations in CEN.

Your daily tasks include managing customer interface, leading of the project organization, project plan preparations and follow-up, contract management, budget follow-up and financial estimating, schedule management, risk management and internal/external reporting. The Capital to Service Manager will also offer support during the sales phase, overseeing that the project and contractual obligations are realistic and optimized from a project execution perspective and ensuring a smooth transfer from sales phase into project execution phase.

We are looking for a person who is open, able, and willing to work with different kind of people and manage them to work towards common target. You also have a self-managed working style with the ability to set priorities to yourself and to project team and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred location to this position is in Austria, Germany, Czech or Slovakia; but other Valmet locations can be considered as well.

* Strong technical background (Bachelor/ Master)
* Approximate 4-7 years' experience in project execution in various roles such as sales management, project management, engineering, or site management
* Working experience in energy industry projects beneficial

Vem är du?

Vi ser att du som söker har gedigen erfarenhet och kunskap från processindustrin. Om du har erfarenhet av avdunstningsanläggningar och/eller massa- och pappersindustrin, så är det ett plus, men erfarenhet från process- eller olja-/gasindustrin är också intressant. Oavsett så är det viktigt att du som person är nyfiken, vill utvecklas samt lära dig ny teknik och nya metoder. Det är också viktigt att du har en god förmåga att kommunicera och bygga relationer med både interna och externa kontakter. What You'll Need:

We are seeking candidates with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business field, or equivalent professional experience and competences; additionally, 5 or more years of related experience in a Senior Engineer or Project Engineer role, preferably within Process industries. Candidates should be familiar with Automation offerings and distributed control systems. Candidates should show leadership skills, have experience with team building, process improvement, motivating others, and conflict resolution. We will be looking for someone who can show a high level of initiative, who can prioritize and multitask well, and who can build relationships with customers, co-workers, and international partners. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in French or Spanish will be considered a plus. Finally, candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed, up to 50% of their time. Travel will typically be domestic in nature but may occasionally involve international destinations.

Are you a driven Technical Sales professional who enjoys applying your problem solving skills in the Pulp & Paper Industry?

We are currently looking for a Mill Sales Manager to clearly understand the needs and concerns of our customers. In this position you play a key role in building and maintaining solid working relationships with customers and our internal Valmet network. You will promote Valmet solutions for our customers in covering a territory within the Southern part of the United States.

As the key point of contact for regional clients, building and maintaining relationships while confidently understanding the customers' needs will be a strong priority. With your technology background within the Pulp & Paper industry, and understanding of customer needs, you will successfully convert our customers' needs into effective solutions for all aspects of their process. You have the lead in developing and executing sales plans to improve customer's processes and to increase competitiveness,. You are also responsible for collecting and documenting customer feedback, call reports, and learnings to help improve future Valmet Service, solutions, and agreements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Strong Technology/pulp process background in Pulp Industry

Approximately 8 - 10 years related experience in various positions in technical sales, production, process development, R&D or equivalent combination of education and experience

Willingness to travel 50 - 75%

Experience in communication and commercial discussions

Strong experience of Customer Value Chain

Solid team working, finding the right internal resources, communication/presentations skills, ability to persuade and influence both internal and external key stakeholders

Ability and skills to work in a matrix organization and to influence on people without having direct line organization reports

Additional information:

You will report directly to the Regional Manager, South and be a member of the regional Mill Sales Team. Please note that Valmet is required to follow the recent Emergency Temporary Standard as it relates to COVID. This position is relocation eligible, however authorization to work in the United States is highly preferred.
