Machine Operator Assistant's role is to help keep the department running efficiently by staging work for the machines and by caring for the machine fluids (lubricants and coolant). Job Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of wash area (i.e. mop floors, change solvents in tanks) and ensure all wash materials used have been replenished at the end of each shift. Will be responsible for learning and fulfilling the needs of the production departments in various positions. The laborer performs any combination of tasks relating to melting, casting, mold preparation, wheel preparation, moving foundry materials and facility housekeeping The position may be moved at management's discretion until they bid to a permanent position.
