A Brief Summary of This Position: The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) is responsible for providing Quality Assurance guidance and support to their respective manufacturing locations. This includes indirect supervision or strong dotted line reporting structure between the RQM and plant quality personnel. This dotted line reporting structure ensures the RQM's have a voice in plant quality activities. As such, the RQM will provide quality related guidance directly to plant quality personnel. Additionally, the RQM is expected to work with plant management to help them understand how their plants are performing relative to quality requirements, and work with them on areas of opportunity. The RQM works directly with the plant quality representatives to evaluate quality metrics, which includes evaluating Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) data, identifying areas of opportunity, and implementing solutions. At times the RQM provides high-level guidance, participates as part of a factory led team, or lead events. RQM's also support QMS compliance, participate in and/or lead third party and customer audits, RCCA (root cause and corrective Action) review and approval, contract review, etc. The incumbent must be capable of distinguishing between Quality requirements that may vary significantly between the ESS and Utility divisions, different market channels present within each division, design types, special customer requirements and several national or international welding and inspection standard guidelines or codes. A thorough understanding of welding processes used at each site is necessary. An RQM has stop work authority as it pertains to non-conforming product. Essential Functions: * This position reports into Vice President of Concrete and has no direct reports * This role requires travel to the different concrete plants throughout North America. ASSEMBLY OF POLE: Removing straps from coils; installation strand and spiral; installation of chucks on strand; marking hole patterns; cut cable; skill saw operation; marking poles; untangle spiral; tightening rebar; verify mold; cutting slacks with chop saw; inserting slacks; tying slacks; plate inspection; installation of 8mm wire, chucks on 8 mm wire, strand and spiral wire, structure rings, ground wire, ground tanks and rings, proper use of tie gun; sequence it takes to assemble a cage safely; recognizing the materials needed to assemble a cage; pull spiral to proper pitch; detention strand; wire puller; pulling and installing rings. POLE INSPECTION: Work with lubrication molds operators on the group reinforcement tension stand and the cranes. Produce and control the correct implementation of the reinforced basket. Correct and fix the pre-stressing steel cars on the spire constantly. Work with Crane Operator to transfer products from basket to tension stand. Report noticed defects and faults to the manager. Conduct strenuous and physically demanding task for long hours and in extreme environmental conditions. Gather, inspect, repair and replace reusable materials and components for production rotation. Compliance with the general OHS and fire safety instructions and workplace instructions. POST-JOB CLEANUP: Basic cleanup duties, general housekeeping, use of basic hand tools, and reading tape measure. Clean general work and ensure equipment, tools and materials are properly stored. What Drives Success This technician performs field activities associated with supporting the installation, maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for commercial customers. Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation. Handle basic, non-complex products and/or problems, referring more complex problems to higher-level technicians. Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements. Advises manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken. Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction. Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times. Performs other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as required. What We Are Looking For High School diploma or GED equivalent 2 to 6 years hands on Commercial HVAC Experience EPA Certification- Type I & Type II or Universal Required Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment. Excellent Customer Service Skills Good Electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic Skills Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork. Ability to work independently and self-schedule. Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints. Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision. NATE certification a plus Availability for weekend and night work occasionally. Travel may be required occasionally Physical Requirements: Technicians install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial, rooftop HVAC units. This work is often done independently. As such, Technicians must be able to safely: Get themselves and necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop - typically via fixed/extension ladder. Work at heights Load and unload tools/equipment from work van Lifting occasionally up to 75lbs. Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs. Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs. Climb ladder up to roof height. Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion. Manual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs What We Offer Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $39,000 - $77,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual's tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
