Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
Comply with Loss Control (HSLP), Environmental and Newmont policies and procedures
The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

General Objectives:
Reporting to the Crew Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator typically works a 5x4 rotating day and night schedule in an open-pit mining operation. The heavy equipment operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment as well as learning and interacting with the Modular Dispatch System in the equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator monitors equipment; communicates equipment needs and issues; interacts with other departments to meet the needs of the mine to achieve a safe and productive workplace.
Key Areas of Responsibilities & Duties:
The key responsibilities of the Heavy Equipment Operator include, but are not limited to the following:
Ability to operate electric haul trucks and have experience or willing to train on Dozers (track and rubber tire), Back hoe, Track hoe, Scrapers and Graders, Drills (Pit Viper and DML), and Loaders and Shovels (hydraulic and electric)
Must be able to work professionally with other employees in all situations
Must be physically able to complete all tasks associated with the job
Must demonstrate the ability to minimize delays whenever possible
Must keep equipment clean and free of hazards (i.e. proper housekeeping)
Must be able to determine what is causing an operating error and decide what to do about it, determine what kind of tools and equipment are needed to do the job.
Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
Must be able to satisfactorily complete company training program designed to acquaint employee on safe and efficient operation of haulage equipment such as the 930E Komatsu Electric Truck
Must be able to satisfactorily complete company training program designed to acquaint employee with recognizing and reporting hazards in the work area and mechanical or safety problems with the equipment
Must be able to satisfactorily complete company training program designed to acquaint the employee on emergency and site procedures (i.e. Mayday, Blasting)
Must be able to satisfactorily complete simulator training and achieve the required standards to comply with Marigold's equipment training program within the required time frame.
Must have regular attendance and punctuality, as well as adhere to company policies on attendance and PTO
Must adhere to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety and environmental policies.
Create and maintain a strong safety culture

Required Skills:
Strong, positive and effective communication skills, in English, using all normal forms of business communication are essential.
Able to lift a minimum of 45lbs on a regular basis.
Able to work on uneven terrain, and able to work in all grades
Required Experience:
2+ years previous heavy equipment operator experience in a mining operations preferred
Must be comfortable in safely operating all types of equipment in all weather conditions
Heavy Equipment Operators will begin their career with haul trucks and achieve progressions to support and loading equipment through simulator, task training, and proficiency evaluation.

Administrative Support Specialist - Battle Mountain District Office candidates shall work to support requirements for Administrative Support and provide a variety of administrative and professional services for the purpose of supporting the Bureau of Land Management office. These services include, but are not limited to, receiving incoming telephone calls, communicating with the public, handling inquiries, providing information to the public, money handling (selling maps to the public) basic computer use, process travel documents, submit purchase requisitions, process incoming and outgoing mail, and file routine paperwork. Additionally, the Administrative Support Specialist will be expected to display a high standard in dress, appearance, and professional conduct to include strong oral communication skills, written communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Provide written and oral information to the public regarding land status records, mining, recreation, horses and burros, map purchase, etc.
Work closely with resource specialists to answer or obtain answers to inquiries pertaining to management issues.
Receive incoming telephone calls and determines which inquiries can be handled personally and which ones, by their technical nature, must be referred to others.
Conduct research necessary to respond to written or in-person inquiries, and when appropriate, refers complex technical inquiries to the proper sources of information
Handle inquiries from internal and external customers.
Sell mineral material and firewood permits, maps, National Park passes.
Explain and interpret surface management, land status or wood-cutting area maps.
Respond to difficult problems arising from contacts with the public. Many persons unaccustomed to dealing with public land and title matters are unable to coherently state their problems. This requires the employee to ask probing questions in order to get a clear and accurate understanding of the information sought.
Deal professionally, respectfully, and firmly with people demanding information and services beyond the capabilities and policies of the office. When unable to respond, refer the person to the appropriate specialist.
Perform inventory weekly/bi-weekly and re-stocks so that items are available at all times. All monies collected will be properly documented and processed following appropriate accounting procedures.
Use automated computer systems to submit purchase requisitions, issue and process bills.
Act as cashier to receive payments and balances cash drawer daily.
Provide support with intake, sorting, processing and distribution of US Mail and/or other express mail/package delivery services.
Provide administrative project support compiling, collating, organizing, preparing large documents for printing, distribution, and/or mass mailing.
Become familiar with computer system calendar application in order to make, confirm and/or cancel internal reservations related to meeting room and/or vehicle availability.
Provide basic audio/visual set up of video, phone, teleconferencing devices.
Qualifications
The Administrative Support Specialist - Battle Mountain District Office - Bureau of Land Management (BLM) shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Must be able to communicate with the public effectively orally and in writing.
Must be able to follow federal travel regulations to review and process travel documents.
Must be proficient in MS Office.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university strongly preferred.

Reporting to the Metallurgical Lab Supervisor, the Metallurgical Technician typically works a 5/4 straight days schedule. The Met Tech performs duties in the Metallurgy lab conducting test work on pad, plant and lab samples. This test work may include, but is not limited to: column tests, bottle rolls, cyanide, caustic and lime titrations, particle size and carbon activity determinations. Additional tasks may include sample collection, sample preparation, accurate, precise data and record keeping and also may include analytical duties in the Assay lab when backfill is required. What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and supervise the overall operation and maintenance of the processing facilities including all support systems and infrastructure
Develop and lead a zero-incident safety culture in a sustainable, highly complex metallurgical facility in which all employees are engaged and working toward the business goals of the organization
Monitor and analyze plant performance to maximize production, maximize utilization/availability, improve reliability, identify opportunities for research projects to improve maintenance or process systems, explore new technologies and drive plant improvements while providing technical support to operations and maintenance personnel
Interface with cross-functional groups to develop production targets for forecasts and budgets, as well as coordinate the above activities with other mine departments, environmental, safety and health
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Metallurgy, Minerals/Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related degree required. Postgraduate studies preferred
Project management experience preferred
Several years' experience in a gold mining operation preferred
Five to ten (5 - 10) years' experience in operations/maintenance supervision, advanced maintenance practices/work management, maintenance management, met procedures, budgeting systems, project management, ore characteristics, crushing, grinding, classification, material handling, pyro processing, hydro metallurgy, extractive metallurgy, and reliability centered maintenance required
Advanced skills in utilizing SAP, Microsoft Office programs included Excel, Work and PowerPoint required
Knowledge of Oracle R11.510 or R12 or similar ERP/CMMS preferred
Knowledge in Xeras (Runge) or similar zero-based budgeting tool required
Ability to work in a team environment and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required

Job Description:
General Objectives:
Reporting to the Crew Supervisor, the Welder typically works a 5/4 rotating day/night schedule. The Welder repairs and maintains mobile equipment through planned maintenance scheduling. Monitors equipment; communicates equipment needs and issues; partners with operations departments and mobile planning to provide both tactical and strategic support for the needs of the mine to operate in an effective, efficient and safe manner.
Key Areas of Responsibilities & Duties:
The key responsibilities of the Welder include, but are not limited to the following:
* Lead by example, in all of Marigold's safety processes, ensuring safe practices are utilized while performing work.
* Welds metal components together or cuts to fabricate or repair structural members or machinery used at the mine.
* Follows layouts, blueprints or work orders to measure and set up the required work to meet standards.
* Locates and repairs cracks in metal parts/structural members.
* Sets up rigging to position the equipment for the work to be performed.
* Must be able to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
* Communicates and coordinates all repairs with the maintenance supervisor.
* Ability to order correct parts for procurement from the warehouse or supplier
* Performs work area housekeeping duties.
* Determines if work areas are safe and free of hazards. Performs Field Level Risk Assessments.
* Determines severity of equipment down times and estimates time to make repairs
* Willing and comfortable with operating in all weather conditions
* Responsible for compliance with company contamination control policies
* Unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship including immediately reporting and mitigating spills and other environmental impacts.

Required Skills:
* Must be able to communicate effectively, in English using all standard forms of business communication.
* Knowledge of welding principles, metallurgy and mechanical principles
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and support a 24/7 operation in strenuous physical conditions both indoors and outdoors, day and night shift.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of failure and wear analysis.
* Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures relating to mine equipment and maintenance practices. (i.e. guarding, blocking, lock out tag out)
* Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and use proper tools and procedures for lifting
* Consistent attendance.
Required Experience:
* Own and maintain required personal tools required.
* Minimum of 3 years' hands on welding experience using SMAW and FCAW welding process
* Five years' experience in a mine maintenance environment preferred.
* AWS certification using NDT inspection methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing is preferred.
* Experience with air arc and oxygen acetylene cutting process applicable to the repair of heavy mining equipment
* Must be able to pass a welding test for technical level advancement
* Valid Driver License required.
