As our most senior data leader, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Finance, and the executive team to define and operationalize our long-term data roadmap. You will shape architecture decisions, build future-proof infrastructure, and ensure AI and ML initiatives are grounded in clean, well-modeled, trustworthy data.
We're looking for a hands-on data leader who has built and led teams inside high-growth SaaS, media, or platform companies - someone equally comfortable reviewing SQL, architecting pipelines, and presenting strategic recommendations to leadership.
You Will:
Define and execute Rockbot's data strategy. Establish a vision and roadmap that scales from descriptive to predictive insights - connecting data analytics, science, and infrastructure into one cohesive system.
Build and evolve Rockbot's data stack. Define and oversee the architecture and workflows spanning GCP, BigQuery, and modern BI tools like Looker and Tableau, ensuring seamless integration between data lake and warehouse layers for unified, high-quality insights across product usage, operations, and advertising performance
Develop and scale ads analytics. Build and maintain data pipelines that unify ad-serving, proof-of-play, and impression data, enabling accurate reporting and yield optimization across Rockbot's ad network
Drive advertising and monetization insights. Partner with Product and Ad Ops to develop attribution models, dashboards, and measurement frameworks that connect ad exposure to revenue, reach, and engagement outcomes.
Lead analytics and experimentation. Build self-service dashboards, define core business metrics, and enable rapid experimentation on various growth initiatives.
Champion AI enablement. Partner with engineering and product to develop clean, well-labeled datasets and scalable pipelines that power our AI and personalization initiatives.
Drive data-informed decision-making. Deliver insights that directly shape product direction, monetization, and operational strategy.
Shape data governance and quality. Ensure accuracy, security, and compliance across ingestion, transformation, and access layers.
Build and mentor a high-impact team. Recruit and develop data talent - setting strong technical and cultural foundations for growth.
Foster a data-driven culture. Empower every Rockbot team member to access insights independently through reliable data models and intuitive dashboards.
You Have:
10+ years of experience across data engineering, analytics, BI, or data science - with 5+ years leading teams at high-growth SaaS, adtech, or consumer tech companies.
Proven experience building and scaling data
Proven ability to design and scale data platforms (warehouse, ETL/ELT, modeling, governance) and to influence engineering and product architecture.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, plus hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Hex, Tableau, Looker (or equivalent modern data tools).
Experience building analytical models, experimentation frameworks, and performance dashboards used by business and product teams.
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP and emerging ML/AI toolchains.
Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex data problems into clear business narratives.
A player-coach mindset: willing to roll up your sleeves while building the long-term structure and talent pipeline.

Compensation:
Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
The compensation band for this role is $225K - $250K, plus equity, and benefits for all team members.

The Head Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of the district's fleet of school buses and support vehicles in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODEW) and Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) regulations. This position oversees the daily operations of the transportation garage, ensures preventative maintenance schedules are followed, and provides leadership and technical support to mechanics and transportation staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair district vehicles, including school buses, vans, and maintenance equipment.
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and service records for all vehicles.
Ensure all vehicles meet or exceed state inspection and safety standards.
Supervise and assist mechanics and maintenance personnel in performing vehicle repairs and inspections.
Order and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
Coordinate with the Transportation Supervisor regarding vehicle assignments, breakdowns, and operational needs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance in accordance with state and district policies.
Respond to emergency vehicle breakdowns and coordinate roadside assistance as needed.
Stay informed of current transportation safety standards, mechanical technologies, and diagnostic procedures.
Keep bus repair equipment and bus garage in good operating condition.
Prepare buses during the summer months for the annual bus inspection by the state highway patrol and be present at such inspection.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor or Superintendent.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in diesel and/or automotive repair preferred.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Technical training in diesel and automotive repair preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL), class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of ODEW and OSHP regulations governing school transportation preferred.
Ability to lift 75 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and perform duties requiring physical effort.

JOB DUTIES
* Assigns incoming work orders to journeyman HVAC to implement repairs, construction or routine services and preventative maintenance.
Air Conditioning/Refrigeration:
* Knowledgeable in the theory and application of all types of heat removal equipment.
* Familiar with the electronic/electrical controlling of the units.
* Must be familiar with Federal and Local plumbing and building codes. This would include domestic hot and cold water and fire prevention and sprinkler systems, wastewater, sewage disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Align and install motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other heavy equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Dismantle machines for repair or transportation, and reassemble as needed

Requirements:
