This position is responsible for setting up and operating conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Experience on CNC lathe or mill
Install chuck jaws and or fixtures on machine
Set-Up CNC Machines using edge finder or probe to locate program zero
Read in and adjust program speeds, feeds, depth of cuts as required
Machine part to drawing
Measure part, complete inspection report and adjust offsets
May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisorv
Core Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 3 years experience on CNC Machines or Manual Machines
Must be able to read and understand G-Codes and M-Codes using Fanuc controls.
Able to perform jobs duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Based on job demands will investigate and determine practicality of making required valve components utilizing available inventory by providing specialty one time usage manufacturing routes
Ability to provide single use rework drawings as required
Designs and develops tooling and manufacturing methods to improve setup and production times.
Develops improved bill of materials and routing methods such as Template and/or Modular bills and routes to drive quality improvements of these tasks
Creation of and review quote, sales, production and shop drawings and files
Support Sales and Engineering efforts by performing material application and specification research to calculate, verify, and determine feasibility and viability of customer requests and specifications
Maintain and update, as needed, all ISO, ASME, API and other QA requirements
Compiles and writes training material and conducts training session on manufacturing activities.
May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
