What You'll Be Doing:
Providing exceptional service to Associates and customers by making complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries of product to customers and/or branches, loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders and transfers, helping to replenish inventory, or receiving product in the warehouse
Working cooperatively with other team members while assisting with warehouse orders, loading trucks, organizing and maintaining the yard area, and assisting customers with their purchases
Following ethical standards and complying with company policies that ensure a safe, friendly, and team-oriented family culture
Required Skills:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B including current DOT Medical Certification, where required

POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks and feed delivery to various farm locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Operates Feed Haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs equipment inspections in accordance with company guidelines and equipment operating instructions. Reports all problems to the Supervisor.
Loads truck in a manner that ensures the quality and integrity of the feed.
Obtains representative's sample of feed delivered to each grower.
Unloads feed into proper bin(s) at grower location ensuring integrity is maintained.
Communicates written and verbally with associates, maintenance (as growers as necessary) relevant information such as tank levels, conditions, etc.
Operates and maintains equipment in a safe manner and keeps truck and work areas neat, clean, and orderly.
Picks up loads of feed from grower barns that is left over at the end of the flock as directed.
Cleans Pellet Mill Particle Separators (Pollution Control Device) on a weekly basis.
Follows housekeeping schedule for the Feed Mill being responsible for keeping assigned areas clean. Uses blow down techniques using required PPE.

SUMMARY To transport and deliver material and/or equipment by driving a DOT Regulated power unit (typically two (2) and three (3) axle dump trucks), with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, for varying distances on and around heavy construction project sites safely and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of material of various weights.
- Secure all shipments by tying down, covering or bracing materials, as required.
- Inspect trucks for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit a written report (Drivers' Vehicle Inspection Report -- DVIR) on the condition of the truck at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
- Check shipping papers to determine the nature of load and to check for the presence of hazardous materials.
- When hazardous materials are present, check:
- Proper preparation of shipping papers,
- Agreement between information on shipping papers and markings and labeling on freight; and,
- Ascertain that vehicle is properly placarded.
- Drive truck to destination in accordance with federal regulations, normally in periods of up to eleven (11) hours of driving followed by an off-duty period of at least ten (10) consecutive hours. May drive only if eight (8) hours or less have passed since the end of the driver's last off-duty or sleeper-berth period of at least thirty (30) minutes.
- Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, or in tight loading areas on and around congested heavy construction project sites.
- Ensure that all shipment documentation (e.g., manifest, security seal sheets, bills of lading, shipping orders, or freight bills, etc.) required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered.

AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Class A CDL Driver at our Bristol facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will help deliver our steel products safely and on time, while maintaining great customer relationships. This is for daily routes (no OTR) only.
Duties and Responsibilities
May drive a tractor-trailer truck combination to transport and deliver goods to and from designated locations.
Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition.
Obeys traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
Loads and unloads trucks, vans and/or automobiles.
Reports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.

Position Overview
Primary responsibility includes driving commercial motor vehicles, short and long distances, to deliver a variety of products to customers while maintaining compliance with all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
What You'll Do
· Responsible for operating a CMV single unit and/or truck-trailer combination to transport and deliver product, over intercity routes and/or across state lines
· Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues to management
· Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including but not limited to DOT hours of service, E-logs, rest breaks and any other record required by law
· Responsible for following safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements
· Operate forklift or non-motorized equipment to load and/or off load product to designated area(s)
· Maintain communication during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
· Maintain paperwork and documentation of deliveries and pickups
· Stay in compliance with annual training requirements
· Maintain an active CDL license, medical card and driving history that meets insurance standards
