Responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to commercial vehicles Perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 lbs. Performing oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures and air and cabin filters in a timely manner Performing tire rotations, mounting and balancing Assist senior mechanics with needed tasks. Power wash exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section. Conducts safety checks on vehicles. Assists with service calls for breakdowns. Performs other maintenance related work as required. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards. Upkeep of shop and tools, ensuring all tools are clean and in proper storage locations, trash is taken out on a regular basis, floors are swept and kept free of any slip and/or trip hazards.
