Fills water tank before each delivery by placing rubber hose into water tank and filling after checking that all valves are shut. Upon receiving delivery ticket, driver drives or backs truck under plant (depending on plant configuration) and charges mixer to receive concrete, making sure to take any admixtures or other ancillary products that are on ticket. Safely drives truck to jobsite and arrives with the desired slump within customer or job specifications. Upon arriving on jobsite, the driver must be able to safely maneuver truck in often very unstable ground conditions. Safe observations of customer's equipment and conditions. Driver will add necessary ingredients such as fibers, chemical, foam admixtures, cements, or integral colors at plant or jobsite, as well as other products. Pursuant to customer needs, driver will place chutes from fender or hanging rack onto the main chute at the rear of truck for discharge. Upon completion of discharge, driver will wash the chutes in washout system or other appropriate location as directed by contractor and put back in appropriate location on truck. Prior to leaving jobsite, driver is responsible for completing all paperwork and collection of moneys if necessary. Upon completion of each shift, driver will wash truck with hose and brush, including the use of cleaning solution when necessary. Communicates with dispatch by a two-way radio and the use of a truck status signaling system. At the end of the shift, all paperwork must be completed and turned in. All cash COD must be put in COD envelope and put in locked box. Ready-Mix Driver is responsible to call schedule each day for start time. Each driver is expected to perform a post-trip inspection of truck pursuant to DOT regulations. Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Job Description International & Interstate Transportation Execute efficient multi-country and interstate transportation, ensuring on-time delivery while complying with cross-border regulations and company standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5-7 years in fleet and routing optimization, with substantial hands-on international and interstate transportation experience. Expertise: Proven skills in wave time optimization, RGU prioritization, and strategic time management. Fleet Knowledge: Strong background in fleet analytics, maintenance planning, and operational cost analysis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.) Build guest and team member positive relations. Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules. Comply with all traffic laws and regulations to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride. Greet and assist all shuttle passengers as deemed necessary. Assemble and inspect the required supplies, equipment and vehicle prior to departure. Provide for physical safety of passengers, performing such activities as providing first aid and directing emergency evacuations. Complete all required trainings in a timely manner. Wash, dry and detail the exterior of the vehicles(s) being used for tours/transportation. Ensure shuttle is properly fueled at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain the drive log recording each shuttle time of departure, current mileage, departure location, destination location and total number of passengers. Ensure to report all vehicle maintenance needs to hotel management in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/GED, required. Active Commercial Drivers License B with at least 6 months experience in driving with Commercial Drivers License B. Must have a valid and clean state driver's license. 1 year experience driving a shuttle bus, preferred. Possess the ability to drive in all types of weather conditions to include but not limited to snow, sleet, rain, hail, sunshine, wind and overcast.
