We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Transportation Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for the Sisters of Mount Notre Dame Health Center. This role involves transporting Sisters to and from appointments and other destinations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area (generally within a 50-mile radius) using a passenger car or wheelchair-accessible van. This position offers approximately 10 hours per week and requires flexibility, as hours may vary and can occasionally be unpredictable Monday through Friday. Some evening trips may occur based on need. Monday availability is especially important for this role. Requirements: Transport Sisters safely and punctually to scheduled destinations, following all traffic laws and facility policies. Assist Sisters in and out of vehicles, including support at pick-up/drop-off locations and medical facility registration areas. Accompany Sisters into medical facilities as needed. Provide timely trip-to-trip updates to the Appointment Scheduler. Review and verify the daily transportation schedule upon arrival. Complete vehicle inspections and required safety checks before and after each trip; return all documentation promptly. Follow department procedures regarding route changes, delays, accidents, or incidents affecting service. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; must be at least 18 years old. Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a valid driver's license and fewer than six (6) points. Ability to pass employer-provided driving assessment. Strong knowledge of local roads, ability to read maps, and safely operate passenger and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (including lifts and safety equipment). Able to adjust routes for traffic or weather conditions. Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and a calm, compassionate demeanor when assisting elderly or disabled Sisters.
