Drivers must be on time to pick-up and drop-off locations and complete all paperwork in full when transporting our loads. Drivers can pick the loads they would like to transport but must remain active and transport 3-5 New Deck loads for us each month. Drivers must have their own tools and safety chains to un-deck trucks. We can provide drivers with a list of items needed when they qualify. Drivers must keep, and turn in, accurate and daily DOT driver logs using the MOTIVE app while contracted with us. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAPER LOGS! Drivers must check in with their dispatcher at least 1 time each week, even when they are not transporting one of our loads. This is an Independent Contractor Driving Position, not a company or Owner/Operator Position. It is an OTR job, NOT A LOCAL or REGIONAL driving position. Must have CDL Class A with Double/Triple Endorsement. Must have at least 2 full years of Verifiable OTR CMV driving experience and at least 1 full year of verifiable un-decking experience within the last 3 years. Must have relatively clean reports and employment history. Must have knowledge of DOT HOS rules and regulations and keep daily, up to date DOT logs using the MOTIVE app while running for us. You studied hard to get your Class A CDL but no one will hire you because you have no experience yet. We will. In order to qualify, you have to had graduated from at least 120 hour training Academy in the last 2 years. You must be fluent in English. Many carrier's can't afford to pay the insurance rates for a new driver. That is why you see ads asking for the drivers to have at least 1-2 years OTR experience ect. We are a billion dollar carrier so we are able to offer trainee's very lucrative career choices. We are hiring 16 Class A CDL drivers at entry level position in the next two weeks. Freight is picking up and we have trucks sitting empty. Once you are hired you then go out for thirty days all over the country for OTR training. This is thirty days straight. No days off, just like basic training in the military. This is only for your first thirty days. Upon successful completion you will be hired on a permanent basis. For your first thirty days pay is a salary of $650.00 per week. Once you completed training you will start bringing in huge pay checks ranging from $1100~$1600 per week on average. Currently we have 16 positions for entry level Class A Regional and OTR drivers. Regional drivers get home weekly and sometimes during their work week. OTR drivers stay out 10-14 days normally before getting home for your days off. When you first complete training you must be willing to run OTR if no other runs are available that you'd like. Once you are hired you will have access to many regional and dedicated runs. It's just a matter of being patient for a few weeks or so to get what you want. The approval process is quick. After your approval you will be scheduled for our 1 1/2 day orientation locally. Once finished you will go out with a trainer for 4 weeks for OTR training. The goal is to shape you into a great confidant safe successful driver. After training you need to unwind. You will take 2-5 days off at home with your family. Then come back and talk with your terminal manager to discuss which position is a great fit for you. After which you then get moved into your own company truck and a big pay raise. Running dedicated, regional and OTR runs ect. We have several divisions. We also run Flatbeds and reefers. If you are interested in Flatbed just ask your recruiter to get you signed up for the Flatbed division. We do offer a tie down class in Laredo for those trainee's that would like to get into the Flatbed division. When you work with us we won't keep you in training for extended periods of time. Drives vacuum truck to transport various fluids to assigned locations. Inspects truck and tank to ensure safe and reliable operating condition. Loads and unloads tank according to prescribed procedures. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs pre-trip, roadside and post-trip truck and tank inspections in accordance with federal and state laws, following standard company procedures. Secures vehicle to prevent unexpected movement by removing key, setting brake and blocking wheels. Reviews last inspection report and verifies completion of required maintenance and repairs. Walks around and looks under vehicle to detect damage or leaks; secured hatches, pipes, valves, hoses and cables; and placement of placards as required. Ensures tank interior, filter baghouse and cyclone separators are clean and free of substances that may react with liquids to be vacuumed or transferred. Checks engine compartment, including fluid levels, belts, hoses and wiring. Starts engine and inspects inside cab, examining operation of gauges and controls; condition of mirrors and windshield; and presence of required emergency and personal protective equipment, manifests and permits. Secures loose items in cab, documents inspection and advises Truck Pusher of necessary maintenance or repairs. Operates tank pump to load and unload brine, following standard company procedures. Positions truck, switches off engine, removes key, sets brake and blocks wheels. Dons personal protective equipment and verifies tank contents. Vents tank and connects hoses to valves. Starts pump and monitors gauges to assure accurate volume reporting, remaining receiving tank capacity, weight limit compliance, safe supply tank vacuum and safe receiving tank pressure and outage. Verifies transfer completion, switches off pump, replaces valve covers, drains and disconnects hoses, and stows gear. Drives vacuum truck on paved and unpaved roads. Applies acceleration, steering and braking techniques to compensate for high center of gravity, liquid surge and variable surface traction. Observes applicable traffic ordinances, regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials and company policies. May notify dispatcher or emergency response personnel of accidents or spills and isolate public or coworkers from hazardous exposures. Maintains U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) hours-of-service logbook and inspection records readily available for inspection by law enforcement personnel. Job DescriptionHiring CDL-A truck driver for a floating position. Must live within 100 miles of Laredo, TX. The driver must be willing to drop and hook/live unload and live load. Driver will run auto freight for multiple divisions. If no auto loads are available driver will be required to run an OTR load to help get to the next auto location.
