Responsibilities
Lead tasks under the supervision of the project manager on multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, or stormwater design including interaction with staff and clients
Develop 1-D and 2-D hydraulic models for project analysis and design
Prepare and review stormwater management and stream restoration design drawings and specifications
Prepare technical reports, plans and specifications
Develop project proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates
Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with them
Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional aspects
Responsible for project task management including task financial performance
Qualifications
BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in water resources engineering and analysis experience
Experience preparing design plans & specifications, and preparing technical reports
Experience with task management
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling preferred
Experience with geomorphic evaluation and stream simulation design
EIT preferred
Proficiency with relevant software including HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Description
AECOM's Northeast Environmental Planning & Permitting Department has a career opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Permitting Specialist/Natural Resource Scientist in our New England Office Locations. The position is remote but will require time in offices or client sites as needed.
You will need a strong understanding of the Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs including the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10:00), USACE S. 404/10 and 401 WQC programs and a working familiarity with MADEP Ch.91 Program and MEPA. A proven ability to prepare permit applications within these programs is required. Some wetland/wildlife field ecology is also part of this role.
The selected individual will join one of the deepest EPP Teams on the East Coast and you will be supporting Energy Projects (electric energy transmission, generation and renewables), state and private sector infrastructure improvement programs and federal projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
* BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field +6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

Your Key Responsibilities
- Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information for a variety of platforms primarily involving ESRI ArcGIS Software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online (AGO)).
- Work in Windows 11 Enterprise and using MS Office suite of applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, SharePoint).

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Educated knowledge and experience working with Esri ArcGIS software suite, primarily ArcPro and ArcGIS Online, as well as ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS for Desktop.
- Experience building and using a GIS to solve problems, present results, and graphically report analytical data for multi-disciplinary teams.

This position will require environmental permitting experience in Massachusetts and other New England States with particular expertise with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10.00), S. 404/401 of the CWA, MEPA, Ch.91 and related land-use regulations.

Stantec has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer (FE) with large-scale marine and civil works design and construction inspection expertise to provide designer-of-record support. This is a fulltime, 5-day per week assignment. This role requires on site presence, Monday through Friday.
We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong construction engineering capabilities and experience. Candidate will support our designer of record office and field team for an ongoing major military construction project located at the US Navy's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.
The first phase of the project involves the construction of 134 large diameter, drilled “deep foundation” shafts constructed in a marine environment. The FE role will work alongside the geotechnical engineering team to provide quality assurance oversight of all aspects of shaft construction and acceptance. There is also 40,000 cubic yards of precast concrete and 50,000 cubic yards of cast in place concrete. The FE will be required to oversee and document permanent structures including rebar inspections and concrete quality assurance.
Close coordination of construction interfaces with concurrent construction activities at the Shipyard is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities
Understand and interpret contract documents including, design drawings and specifications, and confirm shaft construction is in conformance with the contract requirements.
Provide field engineering services to include inspection of steel reinforcing and casing elements prior to construction; observation of all aspects of drilling operations; communicate with geotechnical engineering team for rock socket inspections and/or be able to stand in for inspections; down hole inspection; and testing prior to acceptance.

Stantec's Transportation group is seeking a Fuel System Engineer-Designer to join our nationally recognized team supporting fuel infrastructure projects across fleet, aviation, EV charging, and alternative fuels. This is a design-focused role with exposure to client interaction, project management, and occasional field work (up to 10%).
We're looking for mechanical, civil, or electrical engineers at the intermediate to mid-career level who are passionate about infrastructure and eager to grow in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Capabilities and Credentials - What Will You Need to Succeed?
- Competence with MS Word and Excel required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit is required.
- Design and engineering systems. Proficient in CADD and BIM systems. Willing to train the right candidate with the proven design and CADD experience.
- Detail orientation, strong writing skills, and ability to communicate and work with a team are all important qualities.
- Successful candidates will be a self-starter who could identify daily needs and assist as necessary to complete client assignments.
Education and Experience
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering Technology, required.
- 5-10 years related work experience preferred. Will consider candidates with other experience ranges.
- EIT licensure or PE a plus.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Occasional field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Stantec's New England Transportation group is currently seeking a CADD Manager to join our team, to provide technical leadership on a wide range of transportation projects. The individual will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits. The position is located in our Portland, Maine office with the ability for a hybrid work arrangement.
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage project and client-specific CADD and drawing standards and setup guidelines for multi-disciplinary projects
Establish drawing delivery and interface requirements in consultation with clients
Setup and maintain project collaboration software (Projectwise)

Your Capabilities and Credentials
