Job Description AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to support a nationwide capital construction program for a U.S. Federal client. Serving as the Owner's Representative, this role is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of project execution, contract administration, cost and schedule control, and compliance across all phases of delivery-from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. Summarizing significant test results in progress reports Assess whether the number of helpers, laborers, trainees, and apprentices is excessive compared to the number of journeymen. Assist in enforcing labor standards at the Project site. Assist with instituting corrective actions if labor violations are found. Confirm that the construction contractor has posted the effective wage rate decision at the site. Submit a written report summarizing Subcontractor activity, compliance with the Subcontracting Plan, and adherence to goals contained within the Subcontracting Plan. Verify that the approved Subcontracting Plan is followed once each quarter (four times per year). Verify that workers designated as apprentices are enrolled in a certified apprenticeship program. Review payrolls to verify payment of any required minimum wage rates. Experience with managing US Federal Government projects within the past 5 years. Relevant experience leading contacts, managing people, budgets, schedules, overseeing subcontractor performance, and working with stakeholders and governing agencies on behalf of a public-works owner. This position is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership across all major security domains, including endpoint security, vulnerability management, infrastructure security, cloud security, logging and detection, data protection, application security, GRC, and incident response. The Director will align security initiatives with business objectives, develop a robust security architecture, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness. Do the Work * Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure enterprise architectures, ensuring protection of data, applications, and infrastructure. * Oversee technical security operations, including endpoint security (EDR/XDR & MDM), vulnerability management, logging and detection (SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, UEBA, CSPM/ASM), data protection (DLP, classification, encryption, backup and governance), application and DevSecOps (SAST/DAST, SBOM, secrets, API and container security), and cloud/infrastructure security (CWPP, IaC scanning, and hybrid/cloud hardening). * Develop and implement comprehensive GRC programs addressing risk management, compliance standards(e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO, CIS), customer requirements, audit readiness, policy management, and vendor risk. * Direct incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. * Oversee business continuity and resilience initiatives such as DR automation, tabletop exercises, and cross-team crisis readiness. * Establish and maintain security metrics, KPIs, and reporting processes. * Develop and maintain the information security budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources. * Stay informed of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve security posture. * Support internal and external security audits and regulatory inquiries. * Oversee development and delivery of training and awareness programs to promote a security-conscious workforce. This person will collaborate closely with the Transportation Market Leader, PMs, clients, and project teams throughout the project life cycle to ensure seamless delivery, client satisfaction, and project excellence. Responsibilities * Leverage relationships to develop and maintain trusted adviser status with VDOT clients at all levels of the organization. * Work closely with our Mid-Atlantic local and regional leadership teams in the development of targeted client service action plans. * Provide strategic guidance during the project pursuit process, including opportunity identification, scope development, risk identification, and defining project goals. * Advise on project approach, scope, cost, and schedule, identifying opportunities for innovative solutions and strategic teaming partnerships. * Support project delivery teams and provide technical guidance for the design of transportation projects. Skills and Attributes * Strong track record of overseeing successful VDOT project delivery * Proven record of delivering complex transportation projects * Ability to work in a dynamic environment * Have the drive to be a leader in the company and in the professional community * Possess strong engineering judgment with a strive for quality and financial excellence * Desire to mentor and train design staff in evaluating project risks, client expectations and overall successful project delivery Qualifications * B.S. in Civil Engineering or related degree (a master's may be substituted for 2 years of experience) * 15+ years of professional civil engineering experience focused on delivery of complex VDOT Transportation Design Services * Virginia Professional Engineer licensure required * Demonstrated supervisor and mentoring skills * Technical proficiency and ability to understand and navigate complex projects * Solid project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management * Market and client knowledge to align project strategies with client drivers and expectations * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse clients and project team We are VHB! Purpose Responsible for environmental studies related to the land development industry, including wetland delineations, stream assessments, tree inventories and threatened and endangered species, environmental permitting, and coordination with regulatory agencies at the Federal, State, and Local levels. Do the Work * Conduct field investigations, including wetland delineations, perennial flow evaluations, Resource Protection Area boundary delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and field surveys, forest stand delineations and natural resource inventories, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. * Utilize GPS to collect field data, compile survey information, and produce maps. * Compile reports summarizing the field investigations, analyze data, and prepare supporting maps and exhibits for Clients. * Assist in the preparation of Section 404/401 permit applications and impact exhibits to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and State and Local environmental agencies. * Work closely with senior and mid-level environmental scientists to learn and assist with the Environmental team's work.
