Current Nurse Openings: 2nd Shift Full Time 3rd Shift Full-time The job responsibilities include: Contributes to the nursing process, and implements a resident plan of care. Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and to assist in assessments and evaluation; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Delegates suitable components of care to nursing assistants; provides guidance and supervision when necessary. Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation. Consults and validates data with the RN; records and reports pertinent information; provides explanations to families and other staff. Recognizes and reports safety hazards. May assume team leader duties when assigned under the direction of an RN. Identifies and evaluates the resident's response to health problems and treatments. Communicates resident care needs and approach to other personnel involved in care. Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development; plans and/or participates in conferences and classes to improve knowledge and practice resident care; attends in-service programs and monthly staff meetings that are provided to facilitate compliance with government regulations. Participates in the nursing service quality assurance program. Interprets philosophy and objectives of the facility and the nursing service to residents, families, and other employees when necessary. Other duties upon request. Qualification Requirements: Licensed Nurse in the state of Ohio Experience in nursing preferred, not required
