Shift: Varies (5:30am - 2:00pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm) depending on the day (Server/Prep Cook)

Position Summary:
This position works any of the follow positions listed as needed to provide quality nutritional care to our residents through accurate and sanitary food preparation and service, and cleaning and sanitizing activities. This position functions under strict Federal, State and local regulations, which must be learned and practiced.
Job duties:
Prepare breakfast, lunch, or supper items using standardized recipes, production sheets and production counts.
Performs all assembly positions for cooks on tray line.
Washes all pots, pans and cooking utensils at the end of each shift and as needed during the shift.
Assemble resident meals, efficiently and accurately, within a given time period.
Mops and cleans all kitchen flooring twice daily and especially grout to keep grime free.
Takes out all trash at least twice daily and breaks boxes for recycling program as needed.
Receives; checks to see that the item and number ordered are received.
Monitors the temperature of food upon delivery and puts away all refrigerated and frozen food stock within 45 minutes of arrival.
Delivers tray carts to the various dining rooms during meal service

Position Summary:
Full Time
Shift: 10:45am - 7:15pm - every other weekend requirement
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour - Based on experience
Working supervisor enables others to act through example, supervision, coaching and correcting work activities of diet aides to ensure highest standards of work for meal set-up, meal delivery and clean up. Asserts for compliance with department policies and procedures using computerized systems as available, responding quickly for regulatory compliance. Evaluates with set standards. Leads by example treating residents, guests and co-workers with dignity and respect.
Job Duties:
Leads by example, supervises, coaches, corrects and is responsible for team members compliance to highest standards of personal appearance, uniform and other policies and procedures daily.
Organizes, supervises team for daily department cleaning and documents results on team leader checklist.
Works for best of the team as a whole (any position).
Creates employee work schedules and weekly work flow sheets
Documents for Quality Assurance procedures.
Standing in for the Manager on all weekends.
Perform other duties as directed.
