Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Performs all aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging including but not limited to neuro, dynamic under the direct supervision of the Radiologist. He/She is required to provide high quality examinations in accordance with the protocols and policies of the Imaging Department while providing safe compassionate care to the patient. Shall be proficient in the operation of all equipment associated with the performance of scanning, including the MRI unit, its accessories, injectors, teleradiology, monitors and laser camera. Reports directly to the Director of Imaging. Is accountable for the professional and technical ability to perform high quality examinations with minimal supervision and within the protocols and guidelines set by the Department of Imaging Services. He/She has the responsibility of protection and safety to themselves, the patients and co-workers. He/She is expected to maintain high standards of technical competence and be an example and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers within the department. Technologists are required to participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Use MRI equipment to create cross-sectional image scans of patients to help doctors diagnose and treat illness or disease

Job Summary and Qualifications
A CT Tech, or Computed Tomography Technologist, performs CT scans, ensuring the highest level of customer service and image quality while managing the entire patient procedure. This involves preparing patients, which includes starting IVs for contrast administration and using the power injector, as well as retrieving necessary patient history and orders. The Technologist effectively communicates with patients, their families, physicians, and the radiologist, providing crucial signs and symptoms pertinent to the exam. They are responsible for coordinating patient flow, ensuring all daily exams are completed, maintaining equipment and departmental work areas, and upholding the principle of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) to minimize radiation dose. The role requires the completion of all documentation and contribution to after-hour coverage through on-call rotations, all while promoting quality improvement initiatives.
What you will do in this role:
You will perform CT exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.
You will take patient history and retrieve any necessary orders or prior images.
You will provide patient history, signs, and symptoms appropriate to the exam to the radiologist.
You will appropriately complete documentation.
You will coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
You will support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
You will inform patients about procedures and answer questions.
You will interact and professionally communicate with physicians, patients, and family members.
You will start IVs for contrast administration.
You will use the power injector.
You will prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies.
You will support and participate in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.
You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
You will perform other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:

Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. CT Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What You'll Do in This Role
As a CT Tech in Nolensville, you'll be responsible for both X-ray and CT procedures.
You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served in the department.
You'll demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
You'll assess patients'/families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure.
You'll deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
What Qualifications You'll Need
Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ARRT registered; CT Certification strongly preferred or acquired within 6 months.
1-3 years minimum CT experience strongly preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The CT Technologist performs CT scans, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality. They are responsible for preparing patients and equipment for exams, which includes gathering patient history, explaining procedures, and starting IVs for contrast administration. The technologist also coordinates patient flow, professionally communicates with patients and physicians, and maintains departmental work areas. They are expected to adhere to quality and performance improvement plans and support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to ensure patient safety.

Perform CT exams following protocols in a timely manner.
Prepare procedure trays and use the power injector for contrast administration.
Complete all necessary documentation and check the daily schedule to ensure all exams are complete.
Contribute to after-hours coverage through on-call shift rotations.

You will be capable of taking plain film X-rays

What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Two-year post-graduate related experience
Current Registration with American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Advancement certification in MRI
If not MRI registered, will be required to obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire or will be released from position.

You will complete MRI/General Radiology examinations, ensuring a high level of quality
You will interview patients and review charts/orders to obtain a complete history and evaluate labs before contrast injection.
You will evaluate the patient before contra indicators.
You will be asked to assist the radiologist as necessary
You will scan patient with appropriate equipment and correct order exam.
You will be capable of taking plain film X-rays
You will have potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic.
You will promote teamwork with the department and hospital.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Two-year post-graduate related experience
Current Registration with American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Advancement certification in MRI
If not MRI registered, will be required to obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire or will be released from position.
Current American Heart BLS upon hire.
