Requirements What you'll do: Operate HP and other automated test equipment Debug ATE board failures and coordinate test/debug schedules Assist New Product Introductions (NPI's) and implement ECO's Analyze and track data and engineering/customer interface Train operators and test functionality of products Troubleshoot and repair those products that fail testing Collect quality and technical data Communicate quality problems to appropriate production team(s) Communicate with customers concerning technical or quality issues Participate in theory training of new products and team problem-solving meetings Rework circuit boards when needed and perform other duties as assigned. Provide customers with design for testability support. Provide direct labor to test critical path boards and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements What you'll need: Advanced proficiency in computer systems, including MS Excel (vlookups), Office, and Outlook Ability to demonstrate core competencies through the successful completion of Test Technician Exam Must have extensive knowledge in circuit analysis techniques and use of electronic test equipment Basic understanding of HP3070 and Flying Probe operation (preferred). Must be familiar with PC operation and applications. Knowledge of computer language such as C#, C++, VHDL, VB.net or LabView. Knowledge of SMT assembly and testing. This position may require facilitating and directing others to accomplish the task at hand. For example, when setting a module-or even a simple piece of equipment-the entire craft, along with supporting crafts, may be standing by and waiting for your direction on placement and the precise adjustments needed to achieve the correct position. This often results in continuous work that can extend past your scheduled shift and into overtime. The majority of the work will take place at the Portland Vigor Shipyard; however, travel is an expected part of the role and can vary in frequency. This may range from a few times per week to only a few times over several months. Most travel will be within a few hundred miles, but there may be occasions where nationwide travel is required. The ISO Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, sampling, and verifying incoming tankers to ensure all materials meet quality and specification requirements. What You'll Do Load and unload ISO tanks from chassis and assigned pits. Physically receive, inspect, and verify ISO tank condition upon arrival. Complete receiving check sheets, inspections, and related documentation with accuracy. Connect, flush, and sample ISO tanks in accordance with approved quality procedures. Perform hose operations including pulling, rolling, and making chemical connections. Offload approved ISO tanks; complete all required end-of-offload steps and verify tanks are empty. Create and complete Master Trip Cards, Production Trip Cards, and Plex sample labels. Perform system entries including LIMS submissions, Excel tracking logs, and ERP transactions. Connect and initiate fills of customer lorries. Resample and flush ISO tanks for quality or technical review as required. Support ISO recertification activities in partnership with the Production Technical Team. Safely move ISO tanks, chassis, trailers, and associated equipment around the facility. Maintain clear communication via email and radio to support material flow and operational continuity. Perform other duties as assigned. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Follows all Kanto and customer safety requirements and completes all required safety training. Actively participates in hazard identification, near-miss reporting, and process improvements.
