Ensures compliance with Vanguard wealth planning methodology and investment guidelines while applying knowledge of the external business environment and its implications on Vanguard's strategic direction. Serves as a subject matter expert for crew and leaders. Develops and conducts wealth planning methodology training activities for all crew delivering advice to clients. Risk & Compliance interns experience and participate with global teams in real-world risk management and compliance functions. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Daily monitoring and management of pipeline and dashboard to meet deadlines and regulatory timelines. Examine property information, title commitments, and any relevant title documentation. Assess hazard and insurance details, including verification of flood insurance requirements. Conduct a review of the loan file and supporting documentation to confirm system data. Maintain detailed records of communications and exceptions in the Conversation Log as a permanent part of the loan file. Coordinate closing date with settlement agents to ensure smooth and timely closings. Prepare and send initial CDs to borrowers and settlement agents, ensuring compliance with TILA-RESPA timing and redisclosure requirements. Prepare and send closing packages, including all required documents and closing instructions, to settlement agents/attorneys. Track and clear all conditions required before funding. Obtain and review signed closing documents package and provide funding approval; obtain Final Settlement Statements as applicable. Order the lender wire to be sent to the settlement agent. Identify and promptly resolve any missing or incomplete documentation to prevent delays and maintain KPIs [Key Performance Indicators]. Ensure compliance with all applicable mortgage regulations and internal policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation in loan systems. Communicate effectively with the Lending Team to provide updates and resolve issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the mortgage closing process. Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be proficient in MS Office, must have a strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, closing disclosures, and regulatory requirements, demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
