As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and biosecurity of our processing facilities. Your efforts directly support our mission to produce safe, high-quality eggs and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This role is essential to maintaining daily operations and preparing the facility for continuous production.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in the packaging and stacking of eggs during production hours
Clean processing machines and surrounding areas during downtime using approved safety procedures (e.g., Lockout/Tagout)
Sanitize processing areas using high-pressure water hoses and approved cleaning chemicals
Transport waste to disposal areas and maintain cleanliness of work zones
Follow biosecurity and sanitation protocols strictly
Perform daily and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Comply with all company policies, including food safety, safety, and animal welfare standards
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
0-2 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with sanitation procedures and cleaning chemicals
Basic mechanical aptitude to clean, reset, and perform minor maintenance on equipment
Understanding of basic preventive maintenance principles and practices
Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and equipment care
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for long periods
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Basic troubleshooting skills for common equipment issues
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance concepts
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours as required based on production demand
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in sanitation or food production environments
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish/English) a plus
Work Environment
The work environment primarily consists of indoor activities within a food processing plant. Employees can expect exposure to wet and humid conditions, as well as various cleaning chemicals used in sanitation processes. The job involves regular physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. To ensure safety, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, including gloves, eye protection, and waterproof gear. Additionally, the role occasionally involves working with basic maintenance tools and equipment as part of preventive maintenance tasks and minor repairs.

Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
* Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
* Maintain a service van and its inventory.
* Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
* Less than 2 years related experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
* Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
* Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
* Industry related training is preferred
* Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Position Summary
Dietary Cooks ensures the meals are prepared to meet the standards of the American Dietetic Association and served in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. This position also maintains excellent customer service and high quality nutritional services daily.
Essential Functions
* Prepare meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, and appropriate for each resident and must follow recipes and extension sheets.
* Knowledgeable on ordered diets (i.e., No Concentrated Sweets (NCS), Consistent Carbohydrate Diet, (CCD)) as well as food consistency orders.
* Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
* Compile and maintain records of food use and expenditures including the taking of inventory of supplies and equipment.
* Maintain kitchen in accordance with all state and local health department regulations and ensure the dietary department is inspection ready at all times.
* Supervise dining department staff in absence of Dining Director.
* Maintain Standard Precautions, Exposure Control Plan, Fire Drill and Evacuation Procedures and know how to use the information.
* Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Qulifications
* Prefer High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
* Prefer one to two years related experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities.
* Must be Serve-Safe Certified or willing to obtain it.
* Meet all health requirements including TB testing including all required immunizations.
* Must pass background check and random drug tests.
