Construction Department The Construction team is responsible for the management of delivering data centers from conception through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, New Site Development, and Innovation and Engineering along the way. Construction also works closely with partner contractors to come up with a vertically coordinated design and leads these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget. Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight. Position Overview This role will be based remotely in the U.S. Vantage is looking for an ambitious, diligent, hands-on Construction Scheduler to drive overall project schedule durations at a programmatic level to be used across the company portfolio. You will join the Project Controls team in providing professional scheduling capabilities and enable Vantage's ability to profoundly affect and accelerate speed to market. You will be responsible for creating schedules at every stage of the project lifecycle and be expected to identify ways to re-sequence work to shorten overall project durations Essential Job Functions Responsible for developing policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with our internal and external stakeholders Prepare conceptual and detailed schedules Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading of those activities Develop P6 training guidelines and roll out to teams Job Duties Create, review, and analyze critical path schedules independently, in an efficient and comprehensive manner Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the programs, projects, and strategic goals Represent a realistic and feasible planning approach for our main internal customer - Construction Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project's goals (verbal, written, graphically). Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures. Understand principles of cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters (duration, cost and resource loading, etc.) Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort. Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation. Utilize Acumen Fuse, or similar schedule diagnostic, to monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures. Develop schedule variance analysis. Work with vertical peers focusing on continuous improvement to our business processes. Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analysis. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Estimating, or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years related work experience Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects. Ability to understand construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design. Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version) Moderate experience using Procore & Power BI strongly preferred. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word. Travel required is expected to be up to 25% based on business needs. Essential Job Functions Create and implement a strategic economic development engagement plan to drive forward business objectives at all levels of government in North America. Research, identify and track current and emerging issues and trends around economic development across North America, engage internal partners to determine the company's position, priorities, and risks, and actions to take. Develop and implement a strategy to navigate and achieve economic development objectives; engage with state, provincial, and local governments, especially economic development organizations and decision-makers, to advance the company's public policy interests. The Design Manager champions design quality, value engineering, risk mitigation, commissioning readiness, and seamless handoff to construction and operations, while upholding hyperscaler customer expectations for uptime, resiliency, speed to delivery, and total cost of ownership (TCO). The Design Manager serves as the central link between New Site Development, Product, Engineering, and Construction teams, driving the design process from early concept through project handover. This role ensures that every design decision reflects customer, stakeholder, and operational needs-captured, evaluated, and translated into contract documents that enable predictable, high-quality delivery. Design Managers combine technical acumen, stakeholder fluency, and process discipline to create a repeatable, high-performing design function that balances innovation, standardization, and speed to market. Essential Job Functions Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership * Act as the connective hub coordinating all design-related communication, milestones, and deliverables across Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations. * Drive product standardization efforts in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams, ensuring design solutions are both optimized and scalable. * Represent Design Management in project governance, risk reviews, and executive updates, providing data-backed insight into performance and decision-making. * Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, Telecom, Power, Security, Controls, Commissioning, and Operations teams * Manage RFI resolution, design clarifications, change controls, drawing revisions, and design risk escalations Design Oversight & Delivery Management * Lead concept → schematic → design development → IFC (Issued for Construction) design phases for hyperscale campuses (50-500+ MW portfolios) * Lead external architect and consultant teams, ensuring clear scope definition, performance management, and integration into internal workflows * Oversee design milestone delivery, reporting progress against defined KPIs including cost per MW, design cycle time, and change volume * Coordinate regional design feedback loops to improve the next generation of product and design standards * Manage design consultants, AE firms, specialty vendors, and technical stakeholders to deliver full drawings, specifications, calculations, BIM models, and design basis documentation * Maintain alignment with hyperscaler design standards, reference architectures, resiliency tiers, redundancy philosophies and security frameworks * Drive modular design, repeatability, standardization, and prefabrication strategies for speed of deployment Performance, Cost & Risk Management * Identify value engineering (VE) opportunities that reduce cost, schedule, and complexity without reducing resilience * Drive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) metrics including PUE, WUE, power density optimization and redundancy tradeoffs * Lead design risk assessments, mitigation planning, and quality control (QA/QC) audits * Support sequencing, schedule planning, and cost modeling for multi-wave campus builds Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement * Own the development and reporting of design-related metrics and dashboards. * Lead lessons learned and change management processes to capture insights and strengthen future project predictability * Partner with data governance and project controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across the portfolio * Implement and evolve PM tools (e.g., ClickUp) to drive visibility, efficiency, and accountability across teams.
