Eric McGlade is a Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder at Vantage Point Logistics and Chief Strategy Officer / Founding Partner at Vantage Point Logistics and is based in Columbus Ohio Area. For more than 25 years, Scott has been on the leading edge of technology, consulting and working in product development and process re-engineering for the retail, financial, credit, utility, telecommunications, healthcare and aviation industries. As a founding member and principal of VPL, Scott is focused on business strategy, operations, data analytics, IT, planning and customer experience, but admits his favorite part of the job is hiring the best, brightest, and most forward-thinking players in the industry. Citing VPL’s ability to move quickly to customize solutions to a customer’s specific needs, as well as nimbly take corrective action when things don’t go as planned, Scott delights in the VPL team’s ability to overcome barriers, engage customers, and create new ideas that are advancing the industry. Prior to starting VPL with business partner Eric McGlade, Scott was one of the founding members of HLS MedFreight—the first freight management company to specialize in healthcare. Using his experience with HLS, he has helped VPL build the next generation of technology designed to address and improve upon the gaps and challenges of the old model. He holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems and an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Scott and his wife live in Lewis Center, Ohio. A talented creative, Scott can often be found playing his guitar, singing, painting, or taking photographs, but he most loves (and spends most of his time) supporting his musician children as they turn their passion into careers.
