Strong money-handling skills are a necessity. Must be good with the public and enjoy fast paced environment. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to adhere to all BlueWater Resort & Casino and CDC guidelines in regards to the wearing of PPE (including but not limited to a mask and gloves). MONDAY-FRIDAY BETWEEN 6P-6A ADDITIONAL $2.00.HOUR

SATURDAY & SUNDAY ALL SHIFTS ADDITIONAL $3.00 HOUR


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma, a GED or equivalent experience. Must have previous Casino Cashier experience.


SUMMARY

Perform "even money" exchanges and provide an adequate supply of currency, coin, token, and chips with all Casino Cashiers. Have a thorough knowledge of, and comply, with all cage policies and procedures. Record and report daily cash transactions and maintain an even vault balance. Provide excellent customer service.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Safeguard Assets.
  • Have thorough knowledge of, and maintain strict compliance with, all policies and procedures related to the cage operations.
  • Process requests for table fills and credits, slot machine jackpots and fills, as needed including jackpot check and slot checks.
  • Verify bank deposits.
  • Service all Casino Cashiers by exchanging currency and currency equivalents to maintain imprest amounts.
  • Ensure Casino Cashiers are submitting correct paperwork to the Vault.
  • Process loans and maintain required paperwork as needed.
  • Perform a physical inventory of the contents of the vault and record it on the vault inventory form at the end of the shift.
  • Perform shift close out of chip bank, change booth and vault transactions on the computerized system (or manual system) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring the imprest vault balances of currency, coin, tokens and chips as prescribed by management.
  • May work as Casino Cashier as needed.
  • Assist in routine maintenance of the cage area and equipment.
  • Maintain confidential communications with management regarding financial information, problems, violations of policies and procedures, and employee relations.
  • Perform verification of money from Count Teams.
  • Title 31 paperwork reviewed and tallied. Provide to Cage Supervisor.
  • Monitor and maintain all functions and processes associated with the Kiosk/ATM Machines.
  • Assist in comping fees and unlocking casino cashiers from various working station programs as needed.
  • Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must be able to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner by prioritizing obligations and time. Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality. Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticisms in order to learn new, updated information. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position. Must have excellent math and calculator skills.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
