Your primary responsibilities as Medical Director include upholding medical quality standards (patient care, client and referral veterinarian satisfaction, and patient safety), supporting quality and operational initiatives, fostering a clinician-driven culture and one that cultivates a learning environment, and clinician recruiting, engagement, and retention.
The ideal candidate needs to have an entrepreneurial spirt, be self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work harmoniously and effectively with other clinicians, staff and referring veterinarians. We have an incredible collaborative relationship with our referring veterinarians, so the right candidate must be willing to interact in a variety of ways including making personal visits to their practices, presenting CE programs, and discussing cases by phone.

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $300,000. This position is also eligible for an annual stipend of $50,000 and additionally may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. A Day in the Life of a Banfield Veterinary Assistant
The Vet Assistant provides professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, making sure that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital. You will use your technical skills on a daily basis, within state practice acts and as outlined in the NAVTA guidelines for veterinary assistant skills and duties. Other responsibilities include:
· Helping maintain the flow of patients
· Communicating with the veterinarian and vet techs
· Carrying out or setting up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance

Woodside Animal Hospital is ready to hire a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our amazing team!
If you have always enjoyed working with people and pets, joining our receptionist team might be for you. In this position, you will be the liaison for the client and the advocate for the patient. You will decipher medical records and work diligently to create a smooth-running hospital.
The purpose of this position is to facilitate serving all our clients and patient's needs in a manner that consistently exceeds our client's expectations. This position requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization, services and products, data transcribing, word processing, and a familiarity with the standard procedures, veterinary records, and terminology used in the hospital. Experience is definitely preferred but not necessary.
Successful Veterinary Receptionist applicants should be able to demonstrate a history of the following skills:
Background in customer/client care.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Act professionally under varying circumstances, including but not limited to welcoming new puppies and kittens to the world, greeting regular patients, handling emergencies, and supporting clients through end-of-life care for their beloved pets.
