POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides general operational supervision on night shift under the direction of the director/manager to assigned personnel. Responsible for organizing, directing and controlling workflow aspects of the section in order to improves processes to provide high quality and cost effective services.
TYPE OF SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct supervision to 10 to 40 technical staff. Hires, trains, conducts performance evaluations, and supervises the workflow for staff. This includes initiating promotions, transfers, and performance management actions. Ensures department expenditures are in line with annual budget requirements. Oversees work schedule and daily activities of department staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORS
Able to sit, stand, walk, end, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and body fluids. Needs adequate color vision. Requires significant use of computer, phone and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.

This individual will work across Fresenius Kabi departments (and associated department management) to coordinate maintenance activities within the master production schedule, work closely with Manufacturing personnel to obtain information needed to assess equipment problems, as well as coordinate and oversee the work of the Maintenance Mechanics.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining necessary procedures required to perform routine preventive maintenance (PM).
This individual will be responsible for identifying critical spare parts needed (and then maintaining those inventories in order to minimize equipment down time and maximize production efficiencies).
Lastly, this individual will also be required to participate in cross functional teams utilizing root cause analysis tools to resolve product or equipment deviations, then implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Other essential functions this individual will need are as follows:
Perform all activities in compliance with company cGMP and safety policies, procedures and practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership: Act as a direct representative of the AVES technical staff. Ensure that the AVES Oncology staff create a professional work environment that strives to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Review end of shift check lists daily to ensure equal share of cleaning duties amongst staff.
Coordinate and direct monthly departmental meetings and relay information to staff.
Facilitate frequent meetings with shift leads to trouble shoot challenges and frustrations and provide feedback on leadership skills.
Engage doctors frequently to obtain real time feedback on departmental functionality and flow and potential concerns regarding department staff
Secondary Responsibilities:
Develop department staff work schedules to meet daily, weekly, and holiday support requirements for the hospital. Collaborate with manager for people calling in sick or late to work. Collaborate with manager/supervisors to provide adequate coverage to the hospital.

Perform lawn maintenance as required
Strip and wax all floors in all agency programs as directed
Use a broad spectrum of skills covering such trades as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, air conditioning, electrical, painting in day-to-day activities
Undertake special maintenance projects in all agency programs as directed
Help keep the Center of Hope's client rooms in good order by repainting, repairing and/or readying rooms for new admissions while seeing to other maintenance issues in rooms of existing clients
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all applicable training requirements
Comply with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures
Comply with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs
