Summary:
As an Electronic Systems Technician, you will service residential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts. **What You Will Do**
- JOB SUMMARY
+ Install electrical service and control devices to equipment using the standards set by the National Electrical Code (NEC).
+ Install and maintain facility power distribution systems (i.e., medium voltage switchgears, generators, transformers, buss duct and panelboards).
+ Install, test, maintain, diagnose, and correct problems in the various electrical, electro mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems associated with cigarette manufacturing equipment (i.e., high speed automation, instrumentation, control wiring, microprocessor controls, PLC controls and communication networks, such as SLC500, TI, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Semiens S7-300 and S7-400 and Twin CAT control systems).
+ Read and understand complex electrical schematics and ladder logic.
+ Follows company safe work practice guidelines.
**Qualifications**
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Be at least 21 years of age
+ Be legally eligible to work in the United States
+ Candidates must have completion of an approved apprenticeship program or be a trade school graduate with a minimum of 5 years related electrical/electronic experience.
+ Candidates with equivalent U.S. military training and related electrical/electronic experience will also be considered.
+ Must be able to work any of 3 shifts and overtime, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
+ Candidates will be required to pass a sample shop test.
**Work Environment and Physical Demand**

Responsibilities
Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic equipment to test and repair electrical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair navigation, communication, and sonar systems, including GPS, radar, VHF radios, and depth sounders.
