The scope of the proposed services will include the following: Evaluate and recommend the selection of vendor supplied software packages; recommend and prepare specifications for modifications and customization of purchased software;
Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and modification of vendor-supplied software (e.g., operating systems, communications managers, database management systems, compilers) for a system or complex network supporting applications critical to state business functions;
Coordinate the design, development, and installation of in-house software packages (or modifications to vendor packages) by designing work and specifications. Consult regularly with vendors concerning software and/or hardware problems, resolutions, and system and network performance;
Advise end-users, administrators, and technical support personnel performing network design, designing and providing documentation, instruction, problem analysis and education pertaining to specific and highly complex areas of software and network performance;
Assist in establishing departmental policy with regard to data definition and data relationships, database design, database implementation, database operation, database security, and data accessibility;
Perform database planning and administration, establishment of database standards and procedures, database security, database documentation, and application technical support;
Review and determine the feasibility and advisability of proposed additions and modifications to the database;
Install and customize software and hardware in order to manage, monitor, and otherwise support an extensive enterprise computer systems network (including mainframe(s), LANs and/or WANs, communications lines, etc.);
Monitor network hardware resources through the implementation of a network inventory system.
Design and implement a communications system connecting the various components of an enterprise network;
Consult with vendors in the evaluation of software and hardware used in the
management of the enterprise network;
Consult with users on various requirements and participation in the enterprise network;
Monitor and evaluate performance and efficiency of an enterprise network;
Establish and manage configuration data on network software and hardware
components;
Monitor all attached devices in a complex LAN environment, such as work stations, servers, bridges, multi-station access units, etc.; analyzing performance, diagnosing performance problems, and performing load balancing.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Applicant must have prior experience with large-scale state Enterprise Architecture systems serving multiple governmental agencies.
Applicant must have experience in an Enterprise Architecture environment comprised of various components.
Applicant must be familiar with how the various components of an Enterprise Architecture integrate.

+ Perform securing, hardening, and rule creation for new firewalls, switches, routers, and other network equipment. This includes reviewing and re-evaluating existing configuration settings and rules to verify USCIS' security posture and eliminate unnecessary risk.
**Minimum Qualifications** :
+ Ten (10) + years of experience as an Enterprise Architect across large and complex network and Microsoft AD environments
+ Certifications: CCIE, PCNSE
+ Extensive security background with Palo Alto firewall systems
+ A minimum of four (4) years of experience in cloud technologies such as but not limited to Azure and AWS.

Provide counsel on small business programs, set-asides, socioeconomic certifications, and compliance obligations (e.g., SBA regulations, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a) programs).
Support internal and external audits and investigations, including responses to DCAA, DCMA, IG, GAO, and other agency inquiries.

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Enterprise AWS Systems Engineer in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD; this position will be fully remote.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Design, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS Enterprise Transit Gateways routing and route tables, network attachment management, policy enforcement, and managing connectivity and security.
* Provision, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Enterprise-level AWS Accounts, VPCs, Subnets, Virtual Private Gateways, and connectivity to the Enterprise Transit Gateway using Python Lambda functions, CloudFormation, Harness CI/CD pipelines and AWS Organizations.
* Design, provision, configure, and troubleshoot AWS enterprise Compute, RDS, Storage (S3, EBS, EFS), Load Balancers, VPC Peering Connections, IAM Roles, Bedrock AI platform, and Security Groups in the AWS Enterprise.
* Proficient in the creation/use/management of Enterprise-level resource tagging, AWS Organizations, AWS VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
* Perform Enterprise network troubleshooting in AWS, to include network performance and log analysis, packet analysis using sniffing tools, network configuration verification, connectivity testing, and DNS issue troubleshooting.
* Design, development, and maintenance of automation for full lifecycle enterprise optimization of cloud cost and usage using the FinOps Foundation Framework.
* Advanced developer of Python lambda functions to automate Enterprise provisioning, changes, and reporting for all major types of AWS services. Use of GitHub code repositories to create, update, and document Python Lambda functions code.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred and 1-5 years of proven experience on the above-identified work responsibilities.
* Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Proven experience with managing and using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps concepts.
* Proficient in all the main services available in the AWS, Azure, and GCP clouds.
Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
* Experience with the transitioning of AWS environments to IPv6
* Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub, Jira, Confluence
* Experience with Agile Scrum, DevSecOps, and ITIL concepts and tools
* Experience supporting Government contracts
Clearance Requirements:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust and complete DHS security clearance prior to starting this position.
* Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
* Current DHS EOD highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
* Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,100.00-$159,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
